Must be highly motivated and able to work remotely three days a week and travel to designated locations and/ or assigned market(s) in defined geographic region and two days a week on property to consult with the onsite sales team and conduct site visits. Must be energetic, tenacious, and commission driven. Must be able to sell event space along with guestrooms ranging from small business meetings to large conventions to weddings and everything in between.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Self-Motivated: Driven by a desire and the ability to meet and exceed your performance goals</li> <li>Great Communicator: Excel in both verbal and written communication</li> <li>Personable: Known for your outgoing personality and professionalism</li> </ul> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.</li> <li>Generate hotel/resort awareness through direct sales which include phone calls, networking groups, in person, and the occasional tradeshow.</li> <li>Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.</li> <li>Understands the overall market &ndash; competitor&rsquo;s strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.</li> <li>Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.</li> <li>Gains understanding of the location&rsquo;s primary target customer and service expectations.</li> <li>Supports the company&rsquo;s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.</li> <li>Must have flexibility, some weekends may be required.</li> </ul>
