Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Adhere to guest service requirement listed above.</li> <li>Responsible for monitoring alcohol consumption of the guest.</li> <li>Responsible for opening and closing side work.</li> <li>Requires a working knowledge and ability to apply and follow basic health code requirements.</li> <li>Interact in a professional manner with both the internal and external guests.</li> <li>Possess outstanding Guest Service skills.</li> <li>Maintain uniform and appearance standards.</li> <li>Team member must follow Ameristar policy and procedures, safety and sanitation guidelines.</li> <li>Effectively communicate with Casino Hosts, Coordinators and Player Development Manager regarding players.</li> <li>Prior to end of shift they must complete work assignments and clean their assigned areas.</li> <li>Perform various other tasks as assigned.</li> <li>Working hours are irregular and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.</li> <li>Greet guests and introduce self with a smile and a pleasant disposition.</li> <li>Be familiar with menu, food preparation, and drinks.</li> <li>Observe and anticipate guests&rsquo; needs. Keep tables cleared between courses. Refill beverages throughout the meal.</li> <li>Bus tables after guest leave; wipe off entire table, chairs, and booth seats; reset tables in proper manner, inspecting silverware for cleanliness; check floor area of assigned station keeping it free.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <li>High School Diploma and or equivalent.</li><li>Prefer prior casino experience and 6 months of previous food service experience</li><li>Able to lift and carry trays 15 pounds or more</li><li>Must be a team player with a positive attitude.</li><li>Must be available and have a willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays</li><li>Full knowledge and understanding of departmental rules, policies and procedures.</li><li>Problem solver that takes direction well.</li><li>Treats customers and team members with courtesy and respect.</li><li>Possess excellent Guest Service skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Professional appearance.</li></ul>
