Responsibilities: <p>Position is open until filled</p> <p><strong>Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers Team Members:</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><em>Now hiring candidates 18 or older for all positions, including gaming licensed positions (excluding Beverage Server, Barback, Bartender)</em></p> <ul> <li>$1,500 Retention bonus offered for all newly hired hourly positions &ndash; Receive $250 on your first check! Additional $250 paid after 6 months, $1000 paid after one year (based on completion of pay period anniversary date)</li> <li>Non-Accrued Additional Time Off &ndash; After 90 days of employment, Team Members will be granted 80 hours for FT or 40 hours for PT for immediate use</li> <li>Health Benefits Insurance package effective Day 1: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Short-Term Disability for FT team members</li> <li>$700 Referral Bonus Program ($350 at 90 days $350 at 6 months) &ndash; for Team Members who refer new applicants</li> <li>Discounted Casino bus tickets</li> <li>Discounted RTD EcoPass for Team Members and up to 2 other family members</li> <li>Hot meal served by the Leadership Team once a month</li> <li>20% discount for Starbucks, Ara Spa, and all food outlets</li> <li>100% Colorado Gaming License reimbursement after 90 days of employment</li> <li>Hotel discounts available at all 43 PENN properties, plus discounts on goods and services</li> <li>Education reimbursement program and Annual Scholarship Program</li> <li>Career development opportunities</li> </ul> <br /> <p>Responsibilities include:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>If assigned to Beverage area, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the station, including but not limited to wells, counters, and floors.</li> <li>Sweeps and vacuums carpeted areas.</li> <li>Extracts or shampoos carpets on a scheduled basis.</li> <li>Cleans all brass.</li> <li>Assists regular shift team members in maintaining restrooms and casino floor.</li> <li>Operates extractor equipment, floor scrubbers, shampoo machines and polishing machines as well as special vacuum cleaners and scrubbers.</li> <li>Carries out heavy duty detail cleaning of restrooms and locker rooms.</li> <li>Moves office furnishings and items as directed.</li> <li>Cleans interior and exterior windows above 6 feet off the ground as directed.</li> <li>Maintains logs for equipment usage.</li> <li>Assists with inventory of all stockroom items received from the warehouse to assure proper quantities and quality.</li> <li>Delivers supplies as directed.</li> <li>Responsible for the cleaning of all housekeeping equipment.</li> <li>Maintains cleaning supply inventory and identifies damaged bottles and/or drums for replacement.</li> <li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>Minimum 1-6 months of experience in cleaning, preferably in a hotel or casino.</li> <li>Must have excellent guest service skills.</li> <li>Must have decision-making ability; frequent communication with other department heads; must be willing to accept responsibility of inventory, breakage control and accurate labor cost.</li> <li>Maintain Company Standards; be in compliance with Health Codes and OSHA.</li> <li>Uses appropriate language when engaging guests and co-workers in conversation, communicating clearly and courteously, provides continued service to all guests.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <h2 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job">STAY IN THE GAME.
