Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist in controlling labor cost for the restaurant.</li> <li>Assigns stations and job duties.</li> <li>Greets and seats guests and insures proper service.</li> <li>Assists in training employees.</li> <li>Maintains open communication between all personnel working in the dining room.</li> <li>Acting Manager in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.</li> <li>Understand and demonstrate Management&rsquo;s point of view.</li> <li>Ensure employee safety.</li> <li>Responsible for the cleanliness of all side stations, tableware, floors, salt and pepper, sugar, etc.</li> <li>Encourages teamwork in the department.</li> <li>Coaches and counsels those not meeting standards.</li> <li>Treat everyone with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition.</li> <li>Coaches, counsels, and terminates, when necessary, those not meeting standards.</li> <li>Visits with guests a minimum of five minutes every hour.</li> <li>Ensure that all Team Members are knowledgeable of and adhere to all Penn Entertainment, JINYA Ramen, and property service standards.</li> <li>Execute and share all Food and Beverage Dept. policies and procedures.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <li>Bachelor’s degree preferred.</li><li>Three (3) years of food experience. </li><li>One (1) year of supervisory experience.</li><li>Extraordinary customer service skills</li><li>Good verbal and written communication</li><li>Comprehensive food knowledge, which includes Profit and Loss Statements, cost control, training, inventory control and sanitation.</li><li>Must be familiar with menu including wine/drink list. </li><li>Friendly and outgoing</li><li>Strong organization skills</li></ul>
