Responsibilities: <ul><li>Responsible for directing the overall operations and staff of the Technology department. </li><li>Evaluate, plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and improve the property's technology and audio/video environment.</li><li>Develops, implements, and manages operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives.</li><li>Ensure that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.</li><li>Responsible for preparing, monitoring, and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance with departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns / deviations to the Executive Management / GM.</li><li>Collaborate closely with the corporate Technology organization regarding cross functional governance, architecture, standards, and/or projects.</li><li>Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service, through the consistent practice and delivery of Red-Carpet Customer Service to all guests and team members.</li><li>Translate the strategic logic and tactical business plans into operational plans and systems structures.</li><li>Manage the remote access process.</li><li>Participate in the development of design and implementation strategies to ensure property is kept abreast of technology or audio/video trends within the industry in accordance with enterprise governance and architectural standards.</li><li>Participate in the development and ongoing operation of integration strategies to ensure optimal efficiency of computer systems and programs with existing end users.</li><li>Participate in the development and ongoing operation of disaster recovery strategies to ensure business continuance in case of systems failures in accordance with enterprise governance and architectural standards.</li><li>Ensure adequate processing and storage capacity for growing business demands based on system demands and volumes.</li><li>Continually reassess the competitiveness of technology and audio/video assets against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.</li><li>Establish and maintain credibility throughout the property with management and the employees to be an effective listener and problem solver of information issues.</li><li>Participate in the development of appropriate policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of all deployed technology in accordance with enterprise governance and architectural standards.</li><li>Coordinate the interdepartmental efforts relative to technology throughout the property.</li><li>Manage the budget and other financial measures of the Technology Department.</li><li>Regularly reassess systems mix, policies, procedures, and personnel to ensure compliance with strategic logics and operational objectives.</li><li>Interview, select and train new team members.</li><li>Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Executive Management / GM. </li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.</li><li>Evaluates team members within department and delivers constructive feedback to employees regarding performance.</li><li>Determines work procedures and expedites workflow.</li><li>Responsible for employee performance (disciplining, coaching, counseling, development).</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems</li><li>Subject matter knowledge of Gaming Operations</li><li>4-5 years of demonstrated experience in the application of a wide range of systems preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with Governance and Information Security frameworks (PCI, NIST, SOX, Audit)</li><li>Minimum 4-5 years of project leadership or management experience</li><li>Business management, systems management, project management, contract negotiation and administration, operating and capital budgeting skills.</li><li>Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.</li><li>Ability to manage a team working in a high-pressure environment towards successful results for the property and company.</li><li>Administrative, P/L management, technical, problem solving and negotiation skills.</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to communicate at all levels within the company and vendors.</li><li>Proven experience in handling user problems and vendor relationships</li><li>Able to prioritize, direct and monitor multiple tasks and assignments.</li><li>Technical knowledge of the PC environment including hardware, operating system, and networking</li><li>Ability to analyze problems and apply logical/cost effective solutions.</li><li>Evaluate, recommend, and implement proven technologies that apply to business strategies and system needs.</li><li>Planning and tactical deployment of objectives that provide effective and efficient operations and support for the property.</li><li>Strong organizational skills </li></ul>
