Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintains and cleans all office spaces throughout property and hotel public areas. Ensures that all areas are free of safety hazards.</li> <li>Inform Housekeeping Supervisors or Manager of any linen shortage.</li> <li>Maintains the cleanliness of the guest room halls.</li> <li>Delivery of both internal and external guest requests.</li> <li>Exhibits a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow cast members.</li> <li>Transports linen from loading dock to guestroom floors.</li> <li>Pulls linen from the laundry chute and places in carts to be sent out for laundering.</li> <li>All duties as assigned by your supervisor or a member of management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must be 18 years of age or older. Excellent communication skills. </li><li>High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other cast members of the organization. </li><li>Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. </li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. </li><li>Prior hotel experience preferred. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is regularly required to talk or hear. The cast member is frequently required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and smell. The cast member is occasionally required to climb or balance. The cast member must occasionally lift up to fifty pounds and move up to one hundred pounds. </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the cast member is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The cast member is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</li><li>Must be physically strong, honest, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work alone, willing to learn, eagerly follows directions, and always clean and neat in appearance.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively to hotel guests, announcing arrival at door, and comprehending special requests from guests.</li><li>Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.</li><li>Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safety equipment.</li><li>Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.</li><li>Ability to minimally communicate and understand, in English, matters of mutual concern, such as directions, hazards or questions; if unable to speak or understand English, prior experience as a guest room attendant required.</li></ul>
