Responsibilities: <li>Develop and administer approved budgets for Facilities.</li><li>Develop, administer, and monitor all programs for operation, maintenance, and renovations.</li><li>Plan, develop and direct the staffing, training, and equitable treatment of all Team Members</li><li>Responsible for the overall operations of the Facilities Department</li><li>Responsible for obtaining all certifications, licenses and permits for the facility.</li><li>Establish, administer, and evaluate department policies and objectives, including standards of performance.</li><li>Establish and maintain a maintenance program to ensure a safe area for Guests and Team Members</li><li>Establish and maintain a work order system.</li><li>Establish and schedule an effective preventative maintenance program.</li><li>Make determinations of equipment depreciation and disposal</li><li>Direct Team Members engaged in painting and performing structural repairs to masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.</li><li>Direct Team Members engaged in the maintenance and repairing of utility systems, such as electrical wiring and controls, HVAC, and plumbing systems.</li><li>Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.</li><li>Maintain inventory of repair parts and consumable supplies to support building, grounds, physical plant, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtown and to maximize cash flow.Effectively schedule, monitor, and evaluate all controllable costs.</li><li>Maintain all regulatory logs and records.</li><li>Implement and evaluate an energy management program. </li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree preferred</li><li>5 years facilities maintenance</li><li>2 years facilities supervision in hospitality or a related field</li><li>Strong problem solving, mediation, coaching, and consulting skills.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Fully competent in Microsoft Office</li><li>Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with Team Member relations issues.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with Team Members at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li></ul>
