Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, team members, and storage areas, as directed in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with established SOP&rsquo;s.</li> <li>Is responsible for maintaining and cleaning all equipment used throughout the course of a shift, in accordance with established SOP&rsquo;s.</li> <li>Maintains proper documentation of all duties accomplished during a working shift, as directed. Reports all safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.</li> <li>Abides by all security/safety measures.</li> <li>Greets all guests throughout shift with the proper salutation and pleasant expression.</li> <li>Performs all duties in a quiet and orderly manner.</li> <li>Responds to any/all guest requests quickly and efficiently.</li> <li>Reports room and hall deficiencies to PBX/Supervisor and follows up on completion.</li> <li>Provides accurate information of property along with property events and promotions.</li> <li>Performs other duties as assigned by management.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Must be physically strong, honest, self-motivated, dependable, and able to work alone, willing to learn, eagerly follows directions, and always clean and neat in appearance.</li><li>Must be able to communicate effectively to hotel guests, announcing arrival at door, and comprehending special requests from guests.</li><li>Ability to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible.</li><li>Must be able to use the equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to, vacuum, cleaning supplies and safety equipment.</li><li>Ability to clean as directed at an acceptable performance rate.</li><li>Ability to minimally communicate and understand, in English, matters of mutual concern, such as directions, hazards or questions; if unable to speak or understand English, prior experience as a guest room attendant required</li><li>Willingness to learn and follow directions.</li><li>Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li><li>Highly organized and detail-oriented</li></ul>
