Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Receive cash or credit card from customers in payment for goods or services.</li> <li>Computes bill on P.O.S. System or adding machine, makes change, and issues receipt.</li> <li>May be required to know value of menu items.</li> <li>May give cash refunds or credit memorandums as directed by Supervisor/Manager.</li> <li>Greets and seats patrons.</li> <li>Coordinates and controls the flow of the Restaurant.</li> <li>Assigns stations to servers and bus persons.</li> <li>Supervises the restaurant during the absence of the Restaurant Supervisor/Manager.</li> <li>Interacts between Service Staff and Patrons when difficult situations arise.</li> <li>Ensures that Service Quality and Standards are followed.</li> <li>Answer any guest related questions in the Ameristar Standard.</li> <li>Answer the telephone in a professional manner.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent.</li> <li>Previous cash handling experience is helpful.</li> <li>Must have excellent guest service skills.</li> <li>Able to operate a P.O.S. System and/or adding machine and make change.</li> <li>Must have basic math skills.</li> <li>Must be very friendly and outgoing.</li> </ul>
