Responsibilities: <ul><li>Oversees management of the Compliance Specialist position to include hiring, training, assigning tasks, evaluating performance, and continued development</li><li>Minimizes potential regulatory risk of IRS fines and penalties by maintaining Title 31 Compliance; including but not limited to, thorough auditing of daily Title 31 paperwork, accurate and timely submissions of currency transaction (CTR) and suspicious activity (SAR) reports to the IRS and FinCEN, respectively, as required by federal law</li><li>Develops and enhances the Title 31 Compliance Program, to include on-going evaluation of departmental procedures, training materials, and system capabilities of capturing cash-in and cash-out transactions. Partner with the Learning & Development department to ensure accuracy of assignment requirements as well as timely completion of required compliance training</li><li>Assists with, recommends, and oversees independent audits and audit follow-ups as necessary to minimize risk, eliminate repeat findings and to prepare the property for internal and external audits</li><li>Works with property leadership to ensure corrective and preventative action as needed</li><li>Ensures effective internal controls are established and maintained in compliance with all applicable federal and state statutes and regulations</li><li>Oversees the self-exclusion/disassociated persons program and account maintenance to ensure compliance with jurisdictional rules, thereby reducing the risk of potentially significant fines</li><li>Develops and maintains professional working relationships with gaming regulators within the jurisdiction where the property operates</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>(3) years’ experience in the financial services or casino industries</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li><li>Must be able to write detailed reports</li><li>Ability to perform complex mathematical and financial analysis</li><li>The ability to communicate information and ideas in spoken or written form so that others will understand. Demonstrated skills in organization, strong attention to details, prioritizing and managing time, multiple tasks and varying priorities to meet critical deadlines</li></ul>
