Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino.</li><li>Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.</li><li>This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.</li><li>Assure the securing of company funds, provide accurate and courteous guest service.</li><li>Redeem coins/tokens, cash checks, and supply information to guests.</li><li>Maintain and assure the proper routing of the department’s paperwork.</li><li>Responsible for the movement and protection of company funds. This includes repeated lifting up to 35 lb. and pushing/pulling 500 lb. cart.</li><li>Maintain communication with all departments, Team Members and guests to ensure positive experiences. - Maintain a high level of personal integrity and moral conduct free of questionable association.</li><li>Be prepared to work in adverse conditions, over-time, nights, weekends and holidays.</li><li>Obey the rules policies and procedures of Ameristar Casino Vicksburg and the department.</li><li>Maintain uniform in order to present a neat, clean and professional appearance.</li><li>May perform duties in any functional area of the Cage operations department, including but not limited to Cage banks.</li><li>Provide an outlet of sales and redemption of coin and chips for internal and external guests (ex., general cashier, main bank, fill bank and jackpot/fill window).</li><li>Maintain a neat, safe and organized work Ameristar.</li><li>Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations of Ameristar Casino Vicksburg.</li><li>Implement and maintain a working knowledge of the Ameristar Casino Vicksburg, System of internal Controls and Star Service Standards as well as Federal Currency Transaction Reporting Laws as they pertain to casinos. </li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>Ability to read, communicate, understand and write English</li><li>Ability to work with interruptions</li><li>Must have ten-key (calculator) skills</li><li>Must have good communication and guest service skills</li><li>Data entry/computer skills are required - Must be mathematically inclined</li><li>Money handling and organizational skills preferred.</li><li>Must be able to stand for a minimum eight (8) hour shift.</li><li>Locations on casino floor are noisy and smoky.</li><li>Will also encounter intoxicated guests frequently.</li><li>Provide representation of department in specific project and company meetings.</li><li>High School diploma, some college classes or degree preferred.</li><li>Previous casino Cage or cash handling experience.</li></ul>
