Responsibilities: <ul><li>Maintains a positive attitude at all times, supporting the policies of Senior Management of the Casino.</li><li>Adhere to established department and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.</li><li>Must be willing to cross-train in other departments of Hotel Operations as instructed by management.</li><li>This is a uniformed position, which requires that team member’s are in compliance with uniformed appearance standards while on duty.</li><li>Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.</li><li>Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.</li><li>Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining, and travel directions.</li><li>Keep record of room availability and guest’s accounts, manually or by computer.</li><li>Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.</li><li>May post charges to guest’s bill.</li><li>Make and confirm room reservations for guests. </li><li>Assist in the group sales efforts as specified by PBX Supervisor or Front Desk Supervisor.</li><li>Complete all necessary reports as assigned by your supervisor.</li><li>Maintain lobby area and coffee bar.</li><li>Must be willing to work alone, supervised, non-supervised when needed.</li><li>Assist customers in completing Star Awards applications.</li><li>Enter membership information into computer</li><li>Provide embossed card to members.</li><li>Answer incoming calls in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to enter Hotel (LMS) and Entertainment (Show gate) in computer.</li><li>Ability to run all reports pertaining to reservations.</li><li>Comply with Company and department policies and procedures.</li><li>Answer PBX courteously and promptly using designated language consistently.</li><li>Know all in-house extensions.</li><li>Take messages and insure delivery to proper individual.</li><li>Place all emergency calls.</li><li>Ability to use paging system.</li><li>Compute bill, collect payment, and make change for guests.</li><li>Keep record of room availability and guest’s accounts, manually or by computer.</li><li>Know how to enter wake-up calls for guests.</li><li>Knowledge of property and current promotions.</li><li>Be familiar with Director, Managers, and Supervisors on property.</li><li>Be flexible with schedule.</li><li>Assist in the group sales effort as specified by supervisor.</li><li>Take reservations for marketing events.</li><li>Ability to enter Entertainment reservations.</li><li>Date-stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and messages.</li><li>Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests.</li><li>Assist customers in completing Star Awards applications.</li><li>Enter membership information into computer</li><li>Provide embossed card to members.</li><li>All other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is a plus.</li><li>Excellent communication and guest service skills are a must.</li><li>Must have a pleasant voice.</li><li>Must have clear handwriting.</li><li>Ability to handle high volume and stress.</li><li>Typimg skills at least 45 wpm.</li><li>Excellent guest service and communication skills resquired.</li><li>Must take a typing test (25 WPM).</li></ul>
