Responsibilities: <ul><li>Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards. </li><li>Writes tickets and processes cash winning tickets. </li><li>Handles customer questions and disputes according to established guidelines. </li><li>Counts cash at the beginning and end of each shift; adheres to all financial controls.</li><li>Acknowledges, greets, and converses in English with all guests; offers assistance and information to anyone showing an interest in betting. </li><li>Consistently builds and maintains rapport with guests.</li><li>Adheres to all internal controls, compliance policies, gaming regulations, and Gaming Control Board reporting requirements.</li><li>Calls for MTL support when writing bets requiring MTL paperwork.</li><li>Anticipates and acts on the needs of the customer; seeks and responds to feedback. </li><li>Ensures all issues affecting the customer experience in the sports book are reported promptly.</li><li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned. </li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required. </li><li>Familiarity with gaming environment preferred. </li><li>Must have strong computer skills and be competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). </li><li>Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.</li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. </li><li>Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.</li><li>Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Ability to share or divide attention among several ongoing activities, projects, or assignments. </li><li>Must have basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. </li><li>Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.</li></ul>
