Responsibilities: <ul><li>Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.</li><li>Responsible for deep cleaning guest rooms, hallways, and service areas according to established standards and procedures. </li><li>Ensures guest rooms and public areas are clean, organized, and attractive. - Reports any safety issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.</li><li>Adheres to departmental uniform standards.</li><li>Attends all regular departmental meetings as well as other related meetings as scheduled. </li><li>Follows established protocol when entering and cleaning guest rooms.</li><li>Deep cleans elevators and other areas as assigned. </li><li>Maintains a list of rooms/areas that have been deep cleaned. </li><li>Reports room status on Room Attendant sheets.</li><li>Restocks Housekeeping Deep Cleaner cart with guest supplies and cleaning solutions.</li><li>Reports damage, improvement, or repair issues in the guest rooms or hotel area to the appropriate Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.</li><li>Responds to reasonable guest requests or places guest in contact with the appropriate person for assistance.</li><li>Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.</li><li>Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of previous cleaning experience preferred.</li><li>Must have effective written and verbal communication skills; must be able to speak and understand English.</li><li>Must have good customer service skills.</li><li>Must have strong time management skills and the ability to maintain an acceptable pace and quality of work.</li><li>Ability to identify circumstances or incidents that require the notification and/or approval of others.</li><li>Ability to learn predefined protocols for carrying out cleaning tasks.</li><li>Ability to follow verbal directions.</li><li>Ability to evaluate the quality of guest area cleanliness.</li><li>Must be able to perform the physical essential functions of the job.</li><li>Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate.</li></ul>
