Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Communicate with residents, family, and staff on an as-needed basis to meet resident needs.</li> <li>Screen, hire, train, evaluate, and supervise all Care Partner staff in the Specified Care Area.</li> <li>Complete care staff schedules to assure proper coverage to meet resident needs according to budget.</li> <li>Assist the Director of Health and Wellness in medication management.</li> <li>Participate in the maintenance of resident records including review of documentation performed by resident assistants, monthly MAR reviews, setting up the new residents, and thinning records appropriately.</li> <li>Participate in community functions including family socials and open houses.</li> <li>Foster teamwork with co-workers, show initiative in overcoming obstacles, take actions that assist others beyond job responsibilities, and have a positive impact on co-workers, and visitors.</li> <li>Seek out and perform other duties as assigned or needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must have compassion for and desire to work with seniors!</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED</li> <li>Must have proven management experience and the ability to manage staff.</li> <li>Must have Arizona Caregiver Certificate.</li> <li>CPR/First aide and Food handlers card</li> <li>Arizona finger print clearance card</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange).</li> <li>Must meet all health requirements, including TB. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred:</strong> <strong>Director of Resident Care</strong></p> <ul> <li>An associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a field related to the position.</li> <li>3 years of experience in assisted living</li> <li>Must have prior staffing experience in senior living</li> </ul>
