Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Promote and maintain all steps of the Guest r Service program with each patron and employee you come in contact with.</li> <li>Effectively respond to supervisor&rsquo;s requests in all areas of guest interaction and guest concerns.&nbsp; Assist other departments as necessary, coordinate activity appropriately. Comply with all reasonable requests made by management.</li> <li>Participate in all safety and emergency drills. Ensure that all safety equipment is in operating order. Take appropriate action to secure unsafe areas so as to protect guests and team members. Performs repairs or maintenance as necessary to ensure that the facility complies with OSHA, fire, and safety standards. Maintains a clean and safe workplace, including facility shops, working areas and tool/equipment storage areas.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct visual, manual and/or auditory inspections and testing of machinery, equipment, appliances, and structures as needed. Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.&nbsp;</li> <li>Conduct walk-throughs to check all lights and ensure they are working properly. Replace light bulbs, ballasts, transformers, starters, and sockets as needed.</li> <li>Clean and maintain heaters, air conditioning units, air handlers, filters, belts, coils, and all components in or related to such units.&nbsp;</li> <li>Perform tasks to ensure the attractive and safe physical appearance of the facility such as snow removal, sweeping, cleaning, debris removal, landscaping, and power washing of sidewalks, drives and parking areas.&nbsp;</li> <li>Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility and its contents by performing miscellaneous tasks such as painting, gluing, fabricating, and cleaning. &nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Install, maintain, replace, and repair plumbing including but not limited to toilets, sinks, sewage lines, ruptured or leaking lines and clogged drains and toilets.</li> <li>Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.</li> <li>Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.</li> <li>Performs functions as necessary to ensure that the facility remains balanced and floating, including maintenance and repairs of the tug and associated components.</li> <li>Assist in all other repairs and maintenance work as assigned.</li> <li>Team members may be required to perform duties outside of their normal job descriptions where, in the company&rsquo;s judgment, it is necessary in the interest of efficiency, productivity, or improved guest service.</li> <li>Comply with company policies, all state and federal regulations; and internal controls as it relates to this position.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.&nbsp; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p><strong>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <p>High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p> <p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS</strong></p> <p>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.&nbsp; Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.&nbsp; Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, team members, or organization.</p> <p><strong>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</strong></p> <p>Ability to apply common mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REASONING ABILITY</strong></p> <p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.&nbsp; Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p> <p><strong>CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS</strong></p> <p>Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.</p>
