Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our new Program Manager, ERP will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Be accountable for the successful and efficient implementation of the new solutions.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will take ownership of the overall project starting with scoping, establishing requirements, researching solutions and presenting the best choice. You will develop a deep understanding of the business needs, processes and data sources to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of proposed solutions. You will ensure that the project is set up for success from the ground-level up with clearly laid out deliverables to be completed on target, on budget and as planned. You will introduce processes for risk management and monitoring; change management and issue escalation; training and documentation.&nbsp;<span style="font-weight: 400;">You will be responsible for the Profit and Loss (P&amp;L) agreement and ensuring the budget is adhered to throughout all projects. </span></li> <li><em><strong>Manage the day-to-day and overall project operations</strong></em>. You will create, maintain and update the project plan and roadmap, establishing prioritization and work sequencing. You will build out a budget and account for costs and expenses. You will monitor allocated resource time and utilization against actual deliverables progress and the impact on the overall project plan.</li> <li><em><strong>Lead and motivate the project team</strong></em>. You will identify required resources and assign individual project responsibilities. You will foster a highly collaborative environment and encourage open lines of communication providing feedback and coaching to project team members. You will act as a change agent, create an environment that inspires and motivates the project team to deliver peak performance and superior results. You will oversee conflict resolution.</li> <li><em><strong>Manage stakeholders.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will build relationships and take on the role of trusted advisor. You will manage and align expectations, obtaining signoff and feedback when required from executive sponsors, vendors, third-party partners.</li> <li><em><strong>Maintain transparent and effective communications.&nbsp;</strong></em>You will prepare all status and health reports and keep the appropriate people, such as team members, senior management and the business, informed and up to date.</li> <li><em><strong>Implement risk and change management processes.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will continuously evaluate and assess for risk throughout the project lifecycle. You will work with project stakeholders to deliver risk mitigation plans as needed. You will evaluate and assess change requests, weighing the cost versus benefit against the timing, scope and business needs. You will cope with project changes effectively and efficiently. You are aware of all interdependencies in your project delivery and ensure everyone is aware of the connectivity.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>The skills you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Project Management.</strong></em>&nbsp;You have 5 years or more of project management experience overseeing complex medium to large-scale technology solutions projects from business case development to final delivery in the manufacturing industry. You have: <ul> <li>A confident personality and the intelligence to make well-balanced decisions. You can prioritize and keep your eye on sizeable, concurrent deliverables.</li> <li>A passion for project management principles and practices.<strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong>You have extensive experience with project planning and scheduling, budget and forecasting, scope change and risk management.</li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with the full cycle of product commercialization including design, manufacturing, pre-production, purchasing, QA, AMC, production, warehouse and shipping.</span></li> <li>Expertise as a leader overseeing formal business application migration/deployments across multiple environments (development to test to production).</li> <li>Drive to pursue solutions to difficult problems with rigorous logic and methods. You look beyond the obvious and don&rsquo;t stop at the first answers.</li> <li>Exposure to both Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies - and the ability to apply them in a flexible manner in various situations is an asset.</li> <li>PMP certification (Preferred but not a requirement.).</li> </ul> </li> <li><em><strong>ERP Experience</strong></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">. You have driven</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">the full cycle of ERP selection process for an organization with at least $500M in revenue. Experience leading the requirements analysis stage, gap analysis, issuing of an RFI, collecting of RFPs form potential vendors, vendor selection, followed by a full implementation of the ERP system.</span></li> <li><span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong><em>Leadership. </em></strong>You have experience setting up an Enterprise Program Management Office from scratch including creating global templates, project management processes, best practices, governance and overall Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).</span></li> <li><em><strong>Technical.</strong></em>&nbsp;You are an expert with a project management software package (MS Project, HP BPO, Project Insight, etc.) for planning, budget and capacity tracking, timeline and resource management. You are proficient with PowerPoint, Excel and IT Case Management systems.</li> <li><strong><em>Interpersonal.</em></strong>&nbsp; Your communication skills - written, verbal, presentation- are outstanding. You are comfortable talking to teams from the manufacturing shop upwards to C-level executives. You have the confidence to take a stand, defend your decision and hear the opposition. You are naturally looked to for direction in a crisis and you are comfortable facing adversity head on.</li> <li><em><strong>Resource Management.&nbsp;</strong></em>You know how to organize people and capitalize on their strengths. You can see opportunities for synergy and integration where others can&rsquo;t. You have experience managing projects in a matrix oriented organization, providing guidance and direction to cross-functional teams.</li> <li><em><strong>Additional</strong></em>. 2 + years of experience conducting Business or Systems Analysis.
