Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our new Data Analytics Manager will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong><em>Lead cross-functional projects.</em></strong>&nbsp;You will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights.</li> <li><em><strong>Build, develop and maintain.&nbsp;</strong></em>You will create and update data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics to support key business decisions.</li> <li><em><strong>Design and build.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will develop and implement technical processes to address business issues.</li> <li><em><strong>Oversee.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will lead the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions, key operations and performance metrics.</li> <li><em><strong>Grow the team.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will recruit, train, develop and supervise analyst-level employees.</li> <li><em><strong>Ensure accuracy.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will review data and deliverables of reporting employees with comprehensive policies and processes.</li> <li><em><strong>Manage and optimize processes.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will evaluate and improve processes for data intake, validation, mining and engineering as well as modeling, visualization and communication deliverables.</li> <li><em><strong>Interpret impact.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will examine results of analytical initiatives recommended to stakeholders in leadership, technology, sales, marketing and product teams.</li> <li><em><strong>Oversee process.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will manage the data/report requests.</li> <li><em><strong>Develop and implement quality controls and departmental standards.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will ensure quality standards, organizational expectations, and regulatory requirements are clearly documented and adopted.</li> <li><em><strong>Anticipate future needs.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will forecast the demands of initiatives related to the people, technology, budget and business within your department. Requirements: <p><strong>The skills you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong><em>Direct Experience.</em></strong>&nbsp;You have at least 5 years of experience in a Reporting and Analytics position monitoring, managing, manipulating and drawing insights from data. You have at least 3 years of experience leading the work of a team in an official or unofficial capacity.</li> <li><strong><em>Knowledge.</em></strong>&nbsp;You are familiar with data mining principles: predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources. You have an &nbsp;understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques: hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations for business units. You have hands on expertise with statistical modeling techniques: multiple regression, logistic regression, log-linear regression, variable selection, etc.,</li> <li><em><strong>Technical.</strong></em>&nbsp;You can write advanced SAS code statements, models, and macros. You have strong VBA skills and Dbase building abilities, experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decisions including strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries. You are proficient in the MS Office Suite.</li> <li><em><strong>Interpersonal.</strong></em>&nbsp;&nbsp;Your communication skills - written, verbal, presentation- are outstanding. You are comfortable talking to teams from the manufacturing shop upwards to C-level executives. You have the confidence to take a stand, defend your decision and hear the opposition. You are naturally looked to for direction in a crisis and you are comfortable facing adversity head on.</li> <li><em><strong>People Management.</strong></em>&nbsp;You know how to organize people, capitalize on their strengths and delegate tasks.
