Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead. Oversee the work of a group of coordinators and production floor teams. To ensure quality, you will: <ul> <li>Execute maintenance orders providing direction and support to the teams.</li> <li>Recommend performance appraisals of applicable operators.</li> <li>Resolve disputes in weekly meetings with AMC coordinators and monthly meetings with the Front Office team.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Report. Use Excel to generate and provide a weekly status update on the team progress against targets. Ensure 5S department standards are met and support&nbsp;audits and corrective action for issues. Ensure the AMC MRP tool is up-to-date at all times</li> <li>Collaborate. To ensure high customer satisfaction, you will work with: <ul> <li>Leadership team members to ensure overall company needs are achieved.</li> <li>Front Office team to gather details and gain an understanding of requirements.</li> <li>Project Managers and Sales Managers to negotiate deadlines and priority.</li> <li>Production Scheduling Manager as a point of escalation.</li> <li>Other Section Managers to enlist assistance if an order is too large for your team to manage efficiently.</li> </ul> </li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong><em>The experience.</em></strong>&nbsp;Several years in product manufacturing and a deep understanding of the processes and workflows needed to create a product from end-to-end or a combination of Industrial project management experience, knowledge of a production line and after market care.</li> <li><em><strong>The technical skills.</strong></em>&nbsp;Expertise in Excel. Hands-on experience with Autocad, MS Office and databases are assets.</li> <li><em><strong>The leadership and interpersonal skills.</strong></em>&nbsp;Direct experience leading a production team, meeting KPIs and managing project deliverables. Perceived as a credible leader with the ability to gain the trust of a team and guide their work. Excellent verbal and written communication.
