Responsibilities: <p><strong>What you will focus on:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>Evaluating and reviewing existing design and engineering processes.</strong>&nbsp;</em>You will analyze and develop the existing processes, determining the metrics of their efficiency in performance and identifying the areas that need to be better.</li> <li><em><strong>Developing plans and procedures for process efficiency.</strong>&nbsp;</em>You will write process code, create plans and instructions that your team will follow to enhance, maintain or update existing design or engineering processes.</li> <li><em><strong>Spearheading the implementation of new or updated processes.&nbsp;</strong></em>You will lead the practice of applying changes to the existing tools and processes.</li> <li><em><strong>Making recommendations for process improvement.</strong></em>&nbsp;You will assess the capabilities of existing processes and recommend improvements in areas of performance, quality, and cost to the relevant parties.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>What do you bring?&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>The Experience and Education.&nbsp;</strong></em>You have at least eight years of experience in retail design, and the previous leadership experience to oversee the work of a team in process development. You hold a degree or a diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Design, or any program in a similar field.</li> <li><em><strong>The Technical Knowledge.&nbsp;</strong></em>You have an understanding of process design programs like Solid works, CamWORKs, PDM Administration, and other CAD software. You are also experienced in Word Processing, Intermediate Excel, Power Point, Visio, Database Software, and the Internet.</li> <li><em><strong>The Project Coordination.&nbsp;</strong></em>You have experience in project management and can collaborate with teams to meet process development goals.</li> <li><em><strong>The Interpersonal Skills.</strong></em>&nbsp;You have articulate communication skills that allow you to work together with colleagues in various departments. You are a team player who shares knowledge and recommendations with business units, chapters, and production stakeholders that help to better process capabilities as a whole.</li> <li><em><strong>The Adaptive Personality.&nbsp;</strong></em>You have the flexible mindset to adjust your work based on the current needs of the organization.
