Reporting to the General Manager, Array is looking for a diligent <strong>Electromechanical Technician</strong> to join our team that will help troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install various production equipment across two locations.&nbsp; As a skilled professional you have a solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our new Electromechanical Technician will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Test and troubleshoot.</strong>&nbsp;You will assess the performance of our equipment to ensure that they are operating effectively. Where complex problems interfere with the equipment performance, you will troubleshoot the mechanical and electrical systems in machinery to repair and optimize<br />performance.</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Maintain and repair machinery.</strong><em><strong>&nbsp;</strong></em>You will regularly carry out a corrective and preventive maintenance schedule on the existing electrical, mechanical systems and equipment to keep them operating at optimum capacity at all times. You will check for any faulty components in the machinery including, but not limited to motors, switches, relays and sensing devices.</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Install and upgrade equipment.&nbsp;</strong>You will set up new electromechanical equipment or upgrade existing equipment with new parts or hardware to increase efficiency in various production processes.</li> </ul> <ul> <li><strong>Order parts and manage inventory.</strong>&nbsp;You will fill out online forms to order new components, equipment, and key spare parts as needed. You will maintain accurate records in the maintenance system for each completed task. Additionally, you will update the stock records for critical parts and key spares as you order, install or receive them, thus maintaining accurate inventory levels in the system.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>The skills you bring:</strong></p> <ul> <li><em><strong>The technical knowledge.&nbsp;</strong></em>You have hands-on experience with various equipment and tools to troubleshoot, install, repair or maintain machinery. You are capable of reading and understanding parts diagrams and electrical schematics and can use this information to diagnose and repair machinery. You are computer savvy, and can use basic applications such as email for communication and navigate task management maintenance programs.</li> <li><em><strong>The education.</strong></em>&nbsp; You have a College Diploma from a technical program in industrial maintenance, electrical or mechanical technology or any related field. You have completed and received Industrial Electrician 442A or Industrial Mechanic millwright 433A licensing.</li> <li><strong>The experience.</strong>&nbsp;You have a minimum of two years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and have worked with Mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems. You can troubleshoot, maintain and repair equipment such as CNC machines, vacuum forming machines, vacuum pumps, pneumatic die cutters, and typical machine shop equipment.</li> <li><strong>The personality.&nbsp;</strong>You are a self-starter who can work both on your own or in a small team with minimal supervision. You take the initiative to get things done and have the drive to always do an honest day&rsquo;s work.
