We need an Account Manager - with visual merchandising experience - to join the </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manhattan/Long Island team</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">. We need someone with strong project management capabilities and exceptional customer service skills to drive revenue and margin expansion as our next Account Manager. Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our new Account Manager will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage and lead projects. Oversee and/or manage ongoing projects, providing the support needed to remove obstacles, obtain data, and meet deadlines. Provide end-to-end oversight on all aspects of the project from kickoff to launch, leading meetings, assigning resources, conducting forecasting and analysis, generating reports, managing issues and alleviating client concerns.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify opportunities for commercial sales growth. Dive into the needs of the client and provide innovation and project management support to deepen their commitment to us.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Develop a deep and broad understanding of the brand. Work closely with client contacts to record requirements, completing and sharing the client &lsquo;Briefing&rsquo; document.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead a team. Provide leadership for the account team &ndash; directly or indirectly &ndash; including forecasting, project management, performance feedback, training, performance coaching, communication, motivation, priorities, and focus.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>The skills you bring as an Account Manager:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The education. You have a university degree in Business Administration, Industrial Design, Engineering, a related field. A Master&rsquo;s Degree in Business, Engineering, or Design is preferred. PMP Certification is highly preferred.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The experience. You have progressive project management and/or technical experience, ideally in the cosmetics industry. You have:&nbsp;</span></li> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">High attention to detail, a commitment to successfully delivering multiple projects simultaneously and can give direction to cross-functional teams</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ability to develop and grow the account through excellence in execution and outstanding relationship management</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exposure to the product manufacturing process is a beneficial skill. You are comfortable on the manufacturing floor.</span></li> </ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">People management skills. You know how to organize people and capitalize on their strengths. You have a tolerance for ambiguity and can frame opportunities for synergy and integration. You can effectively motivate a team while prioritizing and keeping your eye on sizeable, concurrent deliverables.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The drive. You take the initiative to solve difficult problems with rigorous logic and methods. You look beyond the obvious and don&rsquo;t stop at the first answers. You manage deadlines, client expectations, and plan and prioritize deliverables with your client and internal teams.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">The technical skills. You have expertise in project management, design, engineering and/or cost estimation. You have expertise using project management tools and MS Office Suite.
