Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our new Total Rewards Specialist will focus on:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Programs. Lead the analysis of our benefits and compensation programs including: <ul> <li>Annual compensation cycle and commission/sales plans.</li> <li>Market compensation database including benchmark reviews.</li> <li>Bonus Plans, including broad-based, manager and executive.</li> <li>Compensation plan modelling and sales payment processes</li> <li>Improving and expanding benefit plans.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Collaboration. Partner closely with: <ul> <li>The payroll team to respond to organization-wide reporting requests and ensure data integrity in ADP. Ensure governance protocols are aligned with the pay administration guidelines.</li> <li>Finance for: <ul> <li>Preparation of monthly bonus accruals for various bonus plans.</li> <li>Cash flow requirements and timing for commission payments.</li> <li>Budget preparation.</li> </ul> </li> <li>HR business partners to: <ul> <li>Make research-based recommendations on internal compensation issues and compensation practice.</li> <li>Serve as the subject matter expert for all HR data needs.</li> <li>Enhance current reporting deliverables while exploring new and innovative ways to report and examine HR data.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> </li> <li>Global expatriate program. Support global compensation and benefits due diligence and integration initiatives.</li> <li>Strategy. Developing a world-class analytics collection strategy used to influence critical decisions. Establish, maintain and continuously build credibility and knowledge of people analytics and insights.</li> <li>Retention and reward of employees. Assist in the identification of key drivers that will retain employees. Drive performance and lead to a positive financial and operational performance.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>So, how do we know you are the new Total Rewards Specialist? You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field. Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) designation is an asset.</li> <li>The experience. 3+ years Compensations and Benefits administration experience. You are an Excel super-user with the ability to use other analytics, databases, and statistical tools. You can: <ul> <li>Put data together to understand the big picture and speak confidently about insights.</li> <li>Analyze large volumes of data to find trends, validate or negate hypotheses and make recommendations.</li> </ul> </li> <li>The accuracy. Highly organized, extremely accurate and you work well under pressure. You are: <ul> <li>Process and governance oriented.</li> <li>Confident in your ability to explore, recommend and learn new analytical methods and technologies.</li> <li>Passionate about pursuing solutions and seeking continuous improvement.</li> <li>Intellectually curious and an avid learner.</li> </ul> </li> <li>The interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to build relationships and the comfort to reach out to internal and external contacts to request information.
