Full-Time

Overview: Leads project implementation efforts by working with customers, Project Engineers, suppliers, and installers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This key role will be the focal point for all communications between the customer and Associated from the time the project is sold to the final acceptance. There will be up to 70% travel for projects nationwide.<br /><br />Associated’s Consulting and System Integration department provides clients with engineering resources and technical solutions for optimizing space, labor, and order fulfillment. Associated’s large MHE Sales Team and Technical Staff are utilized to identify client opportunities in addition to supporting project sales, implementations, and installations. <br /><br />
Responsibilities: <br />• Ability to track and manage multiple projects at the same time<br />• Track and report project schedules to the key people involved in each project<br />• Confirms adherence to technical and performance specifications<br />• Conducts regularly scheduled meetings (phone/voice/web/in-person) to ensure all stakeholders understand expectations, concerns, and schedule<br />• Tracks project costs against the project budget<br />• Monitor/participate in system testing to verify full compliance with specifications<br />• Follow through with all suppliers and installers to bring projects to successful conclusion<br />• Other duties as required<br />
Requirements: Able to use AutoCAD products, 3D helpful<br />• Knowledge of racking and automated warehousing/distribution solutions. ie. Conveyor, AS/RS, AGVs, Mobile Rack, etc. a plus<br />• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project<br />• Skilled in time-management for personal workload and project schedules<br />• Excellent verbal and written communication with all levels of customers, suppliers, contractors and permitting authorities<br />• Ability to apply sound judgment, reasoning, and strong analytical problem-solving skills<br />• Mechanical and controls understanding with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical people<br />Education and Experience: <br />A bachelor’s degree, preferably Industrial, Mechanical or Business, and a minimum of 3 years of project management experience, preferably in the material handling industry. <br />PMP certification a plus.<br />Must possess clean driving record.<br />Working Conditions:<br />This position requires the incumbent to perform duties in warehouse environments with variable lighting, space, and little if any environmental interferences. However, there may be some occasional exposure to severe elements outdoors as a result of travel in and out of vehicle or walking outside. Minimal exposure to unpleasant odors or excessive noise. Exposure to all temperature changes at different times of the day depending on freezer or ambient environments. This position does require business travel to the regional offices and customer sites, which may include up to (20%) overnight travel.EOE: minority/female/disability/veteran<br /><br />
