Full-Time

Overview: <strong>Performs various administrative duties in support of Human Resources Department, including payroll processing, employee relations, and safety.&nbsp; Assists with the administration and implementation of policies and procedures, government compliance, employee record-keeping and reporting.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Addresses employee questions/concerns, escalating matters to HR Supervisor as needed.</li> <li>Provides timely and accurate responses to employee benefit, policy, and procedure questions.</li> <li>Ensures all new hire and termination paperwork is completed and submitted in a timely manner. </li> <li>Completes the E-Verify process for all new hires.</li> <li>Responsible for timesheet / attendance records and reconciliation for non-exempt employees.</li> <li>Responsible for completion of all employment verifications.</li> Assists with company-wide annual performance review process.</li> Assists with employee survey distribution, compilation and analysis of results.</li> Maintains inventory of break room and office supplies, and submits orders accordingly.</li> Receives, sorts and distributes incoming mail for building. </li> Assists HR Team Members with various reporting, training, and record-keeping.</li> Serves as backup for HR Generalist and other departmental functions. </li> <li>Performs additional departmental and building-related administrative duties as assigned.</li> <li>Maintains confidentiality and discretion in all employee matters. </li> </ul>
Requirements: <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Proficiency in Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Familiarity with HRIS platforms (ADP preferred).</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Knowledge of Basic HR principles, laws, and regulations a plus.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Skilled in communicating within all levels of the organization and work collaboratively with various departments.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to use sound reason and judgment to resolve employee matters in fair and consistent manner.</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>&middot;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.<br /><br /><strong><u>Education and Experience:</u></strong>&nbsp;This position requires a minimum of 1-3 years of administrative or other relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.&nbsp; Incumbent should have exceptional interpersonal communication skills.&nbsp; Proficiency in Microsoft products a must.</p>
