We operate a fleet of over 600 tractors and 900 trailers, including top-tier models from Kenworth, Freightliner, Mack, and Western Star. Our trucks are powered by reliable Cummins X15, MP-8, and DD-13 engines, ensuring performance and efficiency across all operations. With over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest, and West Coast, Atomic Transport is rapidly expanding, and we&rsquo;re looking for passionate individuals to grow with us. We&rsquo;re currently seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform both minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.</li> <li>Diagnose and service Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.</li> <li>Use engine diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues.</li> <li>Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li> <li>Perform road-side service calls as needed.</li> <li>Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs performed.</li> <li>Provide your own basic hand tools (larger/specialty tools provided).</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must have a valid driver's license.</li> <li>Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of diesel engines, exhaust systems, and diagnostic tools.</li> <li>Must have your own set of basic hand tools.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Must pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background check).</li> <li>Class A CDL preferred, but not required.</li> </ul>
