Specializing in waste transportation from local transfer stations to landfills, we operate over 25 terminals across the Southeast, Midwest and the Westcoast. We are currently seeking an experienced B Technician to join our team in the Conroe, TX area to support our expanding operations. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform both minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.</li> <li>Inspect, repair, mount, and replace commercial tractor and trailer tires.</li> <li>Perform tire changes, tire rotations, and tire pressure checks.</li> <li>Diagnose and address tire wear, punctures, tread separation, and other tire-related safety concerns.</li> <li>Service and replace steer, drive, and trailer tires, including retread tires.</li> <li>Safely operate tire-changing equipment, tire inflation equipment, and other required shop tools.</li> <li>Diagnose and service Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.</li> <li>Use engine diagnostic software to troubleshoot issues.</li> <li>Conduct regular maintenance and safety checks.</li> <li>Perform roadside service calls as needed, including emergency tire changes and repairs.</li> <li>Maintain accurate records of maintenance, tire inspections, and repairs performed.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li> <li>Provide your own basic hand tools (larger/specialty tools provided).</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Must reside in the Conroe, TX&nbsp;area.</li> <li>Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of diesel engines, exhaust systems, and diagnostic tools.</li> <li>Have your own set of basic hand tools.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Pass pre-employment screening (drug test and background check).</li> </ul>
