Responsibilities: <ul> <li><strong>Responsive Technical Assistance</strong>: Respond promptly to technical support requests through in-person interactions, phone calls, and electronic communication channels.</li> <li><strong>Comprehensive Troubleshooting</strong>: Take the lead in troubleshooting various technical issues encountered by our users, including hardware, software, account, and printer-related problems.</li> <li><strong>Effective Communication</strong>: Bridge the gap between technical jargon and plain language, ensuring that both technical and non-technical colleagues understand the information you convey.</li> <li><strong>Software Application Support</strong>: Install and provide support for a diverse range of software applications as required and approved.</li> <li><strong>Adherence to Company Protocols</strong>: Follow established company processes and procedures to maintain a standardized and efficient support environment.</li> <li><strong>Ticketing System Maintenance</strong>: Accurately log and track all support-related tasks within the company's ticketing system.</li> <li><strong>Network and Infrastructure Support</strong>: Assist in maintaining and supporting the company's network and infrastructure under the guidance of our experts.</li> <li><strong>Security and Data Integrity</strong>: Uphold the highest standards of password management, data integrity, and file system security in accordance with company policies.</li> <li><strong>Hardware Deployment</strong>: Configure and deploy workstations, servers, networks, and printers to keep our technology ecosystem running smoothly.</li> <li><strong>Asset Management</strong>: Manage inventory for workstations, laptops, and other IT assets within the company's tracking system.</li> <li><strong>Stay Informed</strong>: Keep up-to-date with system information, changes, and updates to ensure the technology environment remains current and secure.</li> <li><strong>Phone Systems</strong>: Provide support for Mitel VOiP phone systems, including the configuration and deployment of desk phones as directed.</li> <li><strong>Specialized Software Support</strong>: Offer technical support and troubleshooting for AutoCAD and other company design software.</li> <li><strong>Server Support</strong>: Assist in supporting servers across the organization in alignment with company directives.</li> <li><strong>Backup and Data Integrity</strong>: Ensure the reliability and integrity of backup systems and support the company's data replication and archiving processes.</li> <li><strong>Network Infrastructure</strong>: Play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our network infrastructure.</li> <li><strong>Afterhours Support</strong>: Be available to provide support for critical systems outside of regular business hours when required on a rotation basis.</li> <li><strong>Mobile Device Management</strong>: Assist in managing and deploying company cell phones and other mobile devices as needed.</li> <li><strong>Tech Outages</strong>: Collaborate with the team to address technology outages and disruptions promptly.</li> <li><strong>Flexibility and Initiative</strong>: Embrace challenges and take the initiative to solve problems with limited direction, contributing to a proactive and innovative work environment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li><strong>Proven Corporate Experience</strong>: A minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience within a corporate environment, demonstrating proficiency in the essential responsibilities outlined for this role.</li> <li><strong>Educational Background</strong>: A Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field is preferred but not mandatory, showcasing your commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li> <li><strong>Hardware Proficiency</strong>: Proficiency in working with a diverse range of hardware, including Dell, HP, Cisco, Extreme, Konica, Xerox, Toshiba, Oce, and Canon, underlines your versatility and adaptability.</li> <li><strong>Software Expertise</strong>: Demonstrated expertise with essential software systems, including MS Server, MS OS Win10, MS Office, Office 365, and Active Directory, highlights your ability to navigate and support critical software applications.</li> <li><strong>Network Know-How</strong>: A successful Network Support Specialist should possess a strong grasp of networking principles and concepts.
