Responsibilities: <p><strong>Strategic Leadership:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with your Project Manager(s) to create an annual business plan and present it to the VP/Regional Leader.</li> <li>Set department objectives by working closely with team members and management.</li> <li>Lead and support business development activities, offering internal BD training.</li> <li>Establish and execute a team plan, including maintaining key client relationships.</li> <li>Develop future business opportunities and cultivate relationships with current and potential clients.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Financial Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage revenue goals and key financial metrics.</li> <li>Oversee team utilization, invoice ratio, earned margin, and profitability.</li> <li>Effectively manage respective PM projects, including AR collections, project profitability, and change order submissions.</li> <li>Implement robust risk management practices, including contract and proposal reviews.</li> <li>Manage invoices and subcontractors as needed.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Process and Operations:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with company and service sector standards.</li> <li>Promote the use of company templates and recommend technology improvements.</li> <li>Strive for operational excellence and establish repeatable processes for deliverables.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Talent Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.</li> <li>Implement performance management practices, initiate reviews, and support performance improvement plans.</li> <li>Provide training and mentorship to team members, enhancing industry knowledge, project expertise, and best practices.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Team Management:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supervise and guide all team members, with authority over recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.</li> <li>Collaborate with Human Resources on various aspects, including requisitions, onboarding, workers' compensation, ADA accommodations, performance issues, and offboarding.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Health and Safety:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols and manuals, including onboarding, training, enforcement, and reporting.</li> <li>Champion safety awareness within project teams and provide necessary support and training.</li> </ul> <br /><br /> <p><strong>Professional Development:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Stay updated through educational workshops and industry publications.</li> <li>Build personal networks and engage with professional societies and associations.</li> <li>Encourage internal communication and dialogue across project teams and market sectors.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required. JD, MBA or other advanced degree may be preferred.</li> <li>Licenses and certifications highly desired (ex: PE, RLA, PS, PHR, etc.).</li> <li>Typically, a minimum of twelve (12) plus years of experience in related field.</li> <li>Ability to train and mentor project team.</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.</li> <li>Experience utilizing Vision as a project management tool preferred.</li> </ul>
