Current projects include oil &amp; natural gas, CO2, hydrogen, and RNG pipelines and facilities. The selected candidate will work the help to build our business through industry contacts nationwide.</p> <p>The&nbsp;<strong>Project Manager</strong>&nbsp;will achieve business objectives by developing opportunities, executing project work, and ensuring financial and team success through schedule, cost, and quality leadership. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Supervises and directs all members of the assigned project team.</li> <li>Establish business objectives: <ul> <li>Create annual business plan with Regional Leader.</li> <li>Establish department objectives by collaborating with team members and management.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Organize project team.</li> <li>Achieve financial objectives: <ul> <li>Analyze team and group financial performance.</li> <li>Initiate corrective actions.</li> <li>Report results to management.</li> <li>Approve expenditures.</li> <li>Manage invoices/subcontractors as needed.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Establish project plans and objectives: <ul> <li>Collaborate and lead team to help them determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, or project schedules.</li> <li>Assist with developing project proposals as needed.</li> <li>Conduct necessary research prior to starting project.</li> <li>Maintain client relationships.</li> <li>Lead quality reviews and checks.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, or general public as needed:</li> <li>Respond to project inquiries.</li> <li>Serve as liaison between clients and project team members.</li> <li>Develop future business: <ul> <li>Assist with business development/marketing support and presentations.</li> <li>Proactively build and maintain relationships with current and future clients.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Ensure team performance and provide leadership to project teams: <ul> <li>Supervise, advise, and assist assigned project team members.</li> <li>Foster teamwork within project teams and other teams within the firm.</li> </ul> </li> <li>Maintain professional and technical knowledge.</li> <li>Establish personal networks.</li> <li>Participate in applicable professional societies and trade associations.</li> <li>Achieve team performance objectives as well as individual objectives.</li> <li>Promote internal communication and encourage dialogue within project teams, across market sectors, and throughout organization.</li> <li>Work closely with other Energy teams within Atwell to take advantage of expertise and share resources.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills; oral &amp; written as well as listening skills.</li> <li>The person in this position frequently communicates with other office staff and team members.</li> <li>Willing to travel when necessary.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>EDUCATION</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree required.</li> <li>Professional Engineering or Survey license is a plus.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>EXPERIENCE</strong></p> <ul> <li>Eight (8) plus years of experience in energy engineering, design, construction, or survey.</li> <li>Ability to train and mentor project team.</li> <li>Strong communication skills.</li> </ul>
