Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Seek out opportunities for community/social integration</li> <li>Help consumers plan and prepare their choices of fun events and outings</li> <li>Assisting with self care- dressing, bathing or showering, brushing teeth, toileting, shaving</li> <li>Medication Administration</li> <li>Meal Preparation/Planning</li> <li>Transportation of consumers</li> <li>Follow individual service plans</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Leadership Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct thorough onsite training with new team members that demonstrates accurate procedures</li> <li>Guide staff to empower consumers and promote independence</li> <li>Provide productive feedback that aids in staff education and strengthens morale</li> <li>Professionally and effectively communicate through emails, documentation, reporting, and guardian/case management correspondence</li> <li>Enforce safety procedures and adherence to individual service plans</li> <li>Utilize problem resolution procedure to minimize conflict</li> <li>Help staff access stress management resources</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>18 years of age</li> <li>Acceptable Background Character Verification</li> <li>Valid drivers license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
