Responsibilities: <ul><li>Directs time and motion studies to identify opportunities to improve overall efficiency and cost savings relative to employees and facilities.</li><li>Conducts or leads in the observation and analysis of work procedures to determine the time and motion requirements of each position or assignment.</li><li>Analyzes data and specifications to establish reasonable time and production standards.</li><li>Uses mathematical analysis to identify objective measurements of alternate work patterns.</li><li>Applies industrial management techniques and principles to develop cost and time-saving recommendations and modifications to work methods, staffing requirements, wage rates, and equipment and facilities upgrades.</li><li>Designs and coordinates all phases of the production process using industrial engineering principles and best practices.</li><li>Collaborates with Operations and Human Resources departments to create and further develop wage and salary policies based on anticipated labor costs.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Requirements: Required Skills/Abilities:<br /><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to remain professional and tactful in situations involving staff.</li><li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to identify the most efficient method of executing a task.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.</li></ul>Education and Experience:<br /><ul><li>Actively enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, or related field required.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<br /><ul><li>Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.</li><li>Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.</li></ul> Options
