Regular Full-Time

Overview: This essential member of the Operations Support / L&amp;D team will lead the facilitation of all BDA training programs. This position will be the primary liaison between the corporate office, the operations, and BDA Learning and Development teams. This position coordinates schedules and conducts employee onboarding programs for both new hires and existing associates on how to perform required work while at the same time looking for methods and opportunities for improvement. This position, at times, will require creating training programs needed for special circumstances such as supporting new company program launches and or new operations processes.
Responsibilities: <ul><li>Partners with the Operations Leadership to create annual training objectives supporting the business needs by quarter across all functions.</li><li>Works closely with the HR team to coordinate onboarding activities and new hire development training based on specific roles requirements.</li><li>Performs needs assessments to identify opportunities to improve individual productivity and business performance at the facility level.</li><li>Develop Coursework and content directed at improving performance at the individual, department, and facility levels.</li><li>Ensures consistent training activity and development needs across all functions and departments are met.</li><li>Maintains a focus and cadence on the basic training courses in Warehouse and Distribution specifically geared to improve performance measures and achievement of overall production goals,</li><li>Prepares outline of instructional program and training schedules establishing course goals.</li><li>Selects and assembles necessary materials, supplies and equipment for training and projects when required.</li><li>Creates monitors and reports on training and safety compliance for the MFC division including those related to federally mandated regulations like OSHA, HazMat and DOT..</li><li>Confers with the Supply Chain, Logistics, Merchandising, Inventory Management, Information Technology and Human Resources team determining other training needs, content, and methods.</li><li>Ensure all performance metrics are captured, analyzed, and evaluated for continuing development in concert the L&D, HR, and Operations leadership</li><li>Partner with Operations and HR to develop effective performance improvement and career development plans for facility team members</li></ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree from four-year college or university.</li> <li>Minimum of three to five years&rsquo; experience in L&amp; D within a warehouse/material handling environment. Prefer someone with five plus years of experience.</li> <li>Proven success in managing, facilitating, and creating training curriculum within warehouse and distribution company or service provider.</li> <li>Experience in development of adult learning programs, concise technical writing and documentation like SOPs.</li> <li>Knowledge and experience extracting information from Subject Matter Experts for curriculum development or modification.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with excellent interpersonal, team building and team player skills.</li> <li>Superior planning, communication, change management, and cultural awareness skills.</li> <li>Ability to multitask in an environment with shifting priorities and tight timelines.</li> <li>Must have a vast knowledge and functional use of all Microsoft and other pertinent operating applications.</li> <li>Some travel may be required to other facilities.</li> <li>Bilingual language skills, both verbal and written preferred.</li> </ul> <strong>Cultural Fit:</strong>&nbsp;Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
