Responsibilities: <strong>What you will be doing:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Ensures that the pump is set up for pumping in a safe manner, clear of power lines, etc.</li> <li>Ensures that concrete delivered is as specified, and informs Central Dispatch and the Pump Operator Supervisor of any concrete, out of specification, that has been delivered to a job site</li> <li>Ensures that pump tickets are completed accurately and legibly</li> <li>Ensures that time sheets are accurately and legibly completed</li> <li>Ensures equipment fluid levels, tire pressures, lights, etc. are checked and adjusted as required, before start-up each day and at the end of the day</li> <li>Keeps pump clean, inside and outside</li> <li>Keeps Dispatch Office, Pump Operator Supervisor, and Shop department informed of any equipment problems or failures</li> <li>Operates equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner</li> <li>Wears the personal protective equipment as outline in the BURNCO Safety Manual</li> <li>Dresses in a professional manner and wears coveralls supplied by BURNCO</li> <li>Reports any unsafe conditions at job sites to the Dispatch Office and proceeds with jobs only when related problems have been checked out and rectified</li> <li>Washes out pump in accordance with established procedures</li> <li>Washes out on BURNCO property only in areas designated by Management</li> <li>Performs other duties as directed by Supervisor, consistent with consideration for age and physical ability</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div><strong>What we need from you:</strong></div> <ul> <li>CDL Class A or B</li> <li>At least 2 years of commercial driving experience or 1 year of Mixer experience</li> <li>Able to work in a fast paced environment</li> <li>Hardworking and detail oriented</li> <li>Safety minded; determined to create and foster a safe working environment for you and your coworkers</li> </ul>
