Responsibilities: <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">What you will be doing:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operates an end dump truck to provide sand and rock to internal and external customers.</li> <li>Operates an end dump truck to load and unload material at concrete plants using safety precautions.</li> <li>Inspects truck daily according to FMCSA and Company Regulations.</li> <li>Records required data regarding material deliveries and prepares associated paperwork.</li> <li>Places tarps on truckloads of material and takes the tarps off as appropriate.</li> <li>Attends safety meetings and complies with safety laws and regulations.</li> <li>Operates concrete mixer as needed due to scheduling demands.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">What we would like from you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>One year end dump experience or two years&rsquo; over the road. Previous experience operating end dump trucks and/or other related mobile equipment preferred.</li> <li>Ability to operate an end dump truck effectively and safely as prescribed by law.</li> <li>Must have possession of a current and valid Class A driver&rsquo;s license.</li> <li>Ability to read and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.</li> <li>Ability to work on a relatively independent basis.</li> <li>Knowledge of and ability to drive a tractor-trailer in compliance with D.O.T., state and all other applicable safety rules and regulations.</li> <li>Ability to safely and effectively operate a manual transmission, brakes, clutch, gas pedal, dump bed on a trailer, truck radio and related equipment.</li> </ul>
