Overview: <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">BURNCO</strong>&nbsp;is recruiting for an outstanding <strong>Oracle ERP Functional Analyst (Financials)</strong> to join our Application Services team. Located in our Calgary Head Office and reporting directly to the Application Services Lead, your primary focus will be to work collaboratively within a team of Functional Analysts to support and enhance&nbsp;<strong data-redactor-tag="strong">BURNCO&rsquo;s</strong>&nbsp;Oracle Cloud ERP solution. As the ideal candidate you will have a strong understanding of Oracle&rsquo;s Cloud platform to support all Finance related modules with a keen awareness that these modules integrate to other areas of&nbsp;<strong data-redactor-tag="strong">BURNCO&rsquo;s</strong>&nbsp;Oracle Cloud environment such as Inventory Management, Procurement, Accounting Hub, Project Financials, and HCM. Responsibilities: <p>In addition to the general scope of the role above, you will also be involved in:</p> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">What You Will Be Doing:</strong></p> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Strategy &amp; Planning</strong></p> <ul> <li>Assist leadership in the design and implementation surrounding short- and long-term strategic roadmaps to improve and optimize BURNCO&rsquo;s investment in Oracle&rsquo;s Fusion Cloud ERP platform</li> <li>Advocate and assist in maturing Incident Management, Release Management, and Change Management processes to provide a consistent framework for all IT teams to practice</li> </ul> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Acquisition, Development &amp; Deployment</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide key measures in support of the team&rsquo;s KPIs and weekly priorities</li> <li>Ensure all relevant Configuration Workbooks are updated and maintained in a timely fashion</li> <li>Collaborate with other IS resources to maintain an enriched catalog of relevant Business Processes</li> </ul> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Application Knowledge</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with multi-org setups (legal entities, operating units) and foreign currency</li> <li>Proficiency/knowledge in multiple business processes: <ul> <li>General Ledger (GL)</li> <li>Order-to-Cash (OTC)</li> <li>Procure-to-Pay (PTP)</li> <li>Fixed Assets (FA)</li> <li>Budgeting</li> <li>Cash Management (CM)</li> <li>Project Accounting (PA)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Proficient in creating and maintaining OTBI Reports.</li> <li>Experience with Sub-ledger Account rules creation and maintenance</li> </ul> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Operational Management</strong></p> <ul> <li>Support and maintain the Financial modules within the Oracle Cloud ERP system by resolving issues and applying updates in order that the modules are kept up-to-date and working as intended.</li> <li>Design approved solutions in collaboration with other functional analysts and development resources.</li> <li>Document complete technical specifications as part of implementing change requests</li> <li>Function as the primary resource responsible for system configuration and testing efforts to validate development/configuration against design specifications.</li> <li>Gather requirements for BIP Report development</li> <li>Develop all Testing Criteria, Scripts and Testing Plans required to ensure that system changes and enhancements function as designed.</li> <li>Work with vendors and contractors as needed to ensure a highly effective operational support model.</li> <li>Participate in change/release management reviews and advisory.</li> <li>After hours/on call/change activity required at times.</li> </ul>

Exceptional written and oral communication skills</li> <li>Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on listening and questioning skills</li> <li>Strong documentation skills</li> <li>Ability to absorb and retain information quickly</li> <li>Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language to non-technical staff and end users</li> <li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment</li> <li>Ability to work independently under minimal supervision</li> <li>Critical thinking and problem-solving mind set</li> </ul> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">What We Would Like From You:</strong></p> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">Education, Qualifications, Experience &amp; Certifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Sciences or related field</li> <li>10+ years of Oracle ERP experience focused on Financials modules (GL, AR, AP, FA, CM, OP, Expenses)</li> <li>3+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP/Fusion applications focused on Financials</li> <li>Experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP solutions and supporting the transition to an operational model</li> <li>Successful completion of Oracle&rsquo;s Financials Cloud Certification program</li> <li>Strong written and oral communication skills</li> <li>ITIL certification considered an asset</li> <li>Knowledge of IT access controls and change management processes</li> </ul> <p><strong data-redactor-tag="strong">IMPORTANT:</strong>&nbsp;This position will require successful candidate to:</p> <ul> <li>successfully pass criminal and background checks as required</li> </ul> <p><em data-redactor-tag="em">Posting will remain open until suitable candidate hired.</em></p>
