Overview: The Assistant Director, Admissions Technology &amp; Reporting acts as the liaison for Graduate Admissions and Babson&rsquo;s IT team. The Assistant Director is specifically responsible for serving as the internal point person for all just-in-time reporting, data, and software training and implementation needs; participating as a member of the Operations team; working closely with Graduate Admissions and in partnership with IT to help candidates with application troubleshooting; helping Admissions staff members with both just-in-time solutions to IT needs and project management as Graduate Admissions strives to continuously improve and integrate new solutions into existing portfolios, and acting a critical part of a functional project team responsible for owning and executing the delivery of custom solutions that are uniquely tailored to business needs.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Liaison to Babson&rsquo;s IT team on all admissions-related information technology concerns including data use, data integrity, staff training and development, application testing, and enterprise-work implementation.</li> <li>Serve as the admissions contact for various system vendors in partnership with IT.</li> <li>Responsible for day-to-day troubleshooting on technology platforms to ensure high customer satisfaction &amp; experience.</li> <li>Ability to serve as in-house project manager on new IT solutions for office-wide adoption and integration and point person on maintaining current IT solutions. Manage small projects from inception to delivery while communicating work and needs directly to Babson&rsquo;s IT team.</li> <li>Support continuous improvement projects within existing platforms.</li> <li>Manage Admissions&rsquo; metrics on all data-driven survey responses, including end-of-cycle enrollment metrics used for rankings and reporting.</li> <li>Manage manual entry and imports of all inquiry data. Develop and manage processes to monitor and preserve the quality of inquiry data, including exception reporting, undeliverable follow-up, and unsubscribe requests.</li> <li>Provide ongoing training to staff around technical and problem-solving needs, query and report writing, and efficient use of existing and emerging technologies.</li> <li>Serve as a liaison and resource to project managers, developers, QA/testing staff, and other project team members throughout each phase of the project to help clarify and/or resolve issues related to requirement specifications.</li> <li>Assist the Operations team with application processing during busiest application times.</li> <li>Assume additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul> Supervises:<br />N/A
Requirements: Minimum Level of Education Required Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree or equivalent<br />Position Knowledge/Skills &amp; Abilities Requirements:<br /> <ul> <li>Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in graduate admission, marketing, recruiting, staffing, or sales.</li> <li>Ability to succeed in a customer-oriented, technology-intensive work environment.</li> <li>Must have strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.</li> <li>Ability to translate business needs into application and operational requirements</li> <li>Ability to learn new technology quickly with experience working within Salesforce.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Access, Intermediate to Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), Intermediate Adobe Acrobat (incl. Document Extraction), Visio, Google Suite</li> <li>Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&amp;A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li>Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</li> <li>Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office. Successful candidates should know how to Mail Merge, Sort/Filter within Excel, manipulate data with excel, and grasp changing technology quickly.</li> </ul> Working Conditions:<br /> <ul> <li>Ability to work some evenings and weekends</li> </ul> Additional Experience, Skills &amp; Abilities:<br /> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Business Administration or Education, or equivalent strongly preferred.</li> <li>Ability to link Admissions&rsquo; business process needs to best-practice technology solutions, and a background in customer-service, sales, or higher education is a plus.</li> <li>Experience with digital imaging systems, knowledge of Workday, and programming is preferred.</li> </ul>
