Overview: The Operations Coordinator will provide admission-related and general Graduate School customer service and support to prospective graduate students, their families and/or representatives, internal and external customers (i.e., local government and business constituents) and school officials.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Manage a designated section of the applicant pool utilizing Salesforce CRM. Responsibilities include: processing applications, responding to candidate emails and phone calls; verifying and uploading documents, assisting applicants with completing applications and managing daily reports.</li> <li>Perform high volume of data entry (electronic and paper based) including, but not limited to: admission inquiry, applications for admission, and applicant credentials.</li> <li>Serve as first point of contact for operational questions received to general email account, voicemail, text and live chat. Assist with troubleshooting application issues experienced by candidates and/or recommenders.</li> <li>Assist Senior Assistant Director in managing the decision process, including updating applicant decisions and ensuring scholarship and admissions letters are complete and accurate.</li> <li>Manage admit conditional process, including tracking official document requirements for incoming students.</li> <li>Build relationships with partner offices and assist with fulfilling requests for information from partner offices</li> <li>Manage booking for the Admissions Conference Room through EMS</li> <li>Enter event attendance and assist with recruiting events as needed, including some event set-up</li> <li>Assist with general website updates as needed.</li> <li>Along with the Assistant Director of Admissions, sit at the front desk to greet walk-ins on a rotating basis</li> <li>Assume additional responsibilities as required</li> </ul> <br />Supervises:<br />N/A
Requirements: Minimum Level of Education Required Associate&rsquo;s Degree<br /><br />Position Knowledge/Skills &amp; Abilities Requirements:<br /> <ul> <li>At least 1-3 years related work experience</li> <li>Must have exceptional customer service orientation</li> <li>Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work creatively and efficiently, both independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Must have a commitment to a diverse working environment and to cultivating a diverse community</li> <li>Must have excellent computer and technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)</li> <li>Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support Entrepreneurial Thought &amp; Action; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li>Ability to anticipate and embrace change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</li> <li>Must have strong communication and organizational skills</li> </ul> <br />Working Conditions:<br /> <ul> <li>Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.</li> <li>This position is based at Babson&rsquo;s campus in Wellesley, MA. One work from home day a week is possible after a three month training period.</li> </ul> <br />Additional Experience, Skills &amp; Abilities:<br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li> <li>Familiarity of Salesforce is a plus</li> </ul>
