Overview: <br />The Corporate Marketing Specialist generates awareness for Babson&rsquo;s corporate offerings with a focus on Executive Education programs, and effective lead generation, qualification, and conversion strategies. This position serves as the lead contact for Babson Executive Education, collaborating with the Executive Director, their leadership team, and the Corporate Engagement team. This position creates, manages, and executes a holistic, integrated marketing strategy for custom and open enrollment non-degreed programs that will help Executive Education meet or exceed revenue goals and ensure that marketing activities are aligned with institutional brand and strategy.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Executes, maintains, and shares the integrated marketing plan and communications strategy for Babson Executive Education and Corporate Engagement. Partner with the Vice President of Innovation and BEE&rsquo;s Chief Executive Officer, Business Development Leads, and Director of Administration to help meet or exceed revenue goals.</li> <li>Executes the marketing plan and communications strategy for Babson Executive Education (BEE) including but not limited to printed materials, email communications, content marketing, digital presence, and sponsorship support. Utilizes Agile and Scrum theory and practices to ensure efficient and productive enrollment marketing.</li> <li>Partners with BEE Director of Administration and Associate Director, Digital and Brand Marketing to manage the relationship with digital and direct marketing partners for BEE to ensure communications are on message and on brand. Reviews results and performance of partner.</li> <li>Works with the Associate Director, Enrollment Marketing and Executive Director of BEE to review data and performance of efforts on a regular basis to optimize marketing and communications strategies.</li> <li>As it relates to corporate marketing communication efforts, serves as the point person and primary contact for departments and external partners, including faculty, business development leads, freelancers, and Centers and Institutes.</li> <li>Stays abreast of current corporate and executive education market trends, along with the marketing campaigns and materials of competitors, and uses this information to keep marketing approaches relevant, competitive, and leading edge.</li> <li>Work collaboratively with the Agile team (leveraging the JIRA project management system) to deliver on the BEE marketing plan ensuring all deliverables are on-time, on budget, and on brand.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li><strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferably in marketing or communications.</strong>&nbsp;</li> <li>At least <strong>2-4 years of previous experience.</strong></li> <li>Excellent <strong>organization and project management</strong> skills.</li> <li><strong>Strong communication skills, </strong>particularly in presentation development, copy, and advertising copywriting.</li> <li>Strong <strong>creative and design skills.</strong></li> <li>Ability to <strong>work effectively on a high-performing team.</strong></li> <li>Ability to handle multiple projects with frequent deadlines in a fast-paced, agile marketing management environment.</li> <li>Works independently to solve problems; looks for opportunities to take on responsibility.</li> <li>Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&amp;A; takes thoughtful risks; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li>Anticipates and embraces change; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</li> <li>Experience with Agile marketing preferred.</li> <li>Prior B2B marketing experience preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Occasional nights and weekends required.</li> <li>Position is eligible for a hybrid work environment.</li> <li>All Babson College faculty and staff authorized to work on campus must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, <a href="https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/stay-up-to-date.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">including any appropriate boosters</a>.
