Overview: <br />The Program Coordinator will support all aspects of the academic operations for Babson&rsquo;s portfolio of Advanced Experiential courses. Specifically responsible for working closely with faculty to ensure continuity of a high level of program support; collaborating extensively with faculty members, campus partners, and community partners; participating in program design and implementation; and timely delivery of support services to ensure a high level of program support. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Advanced Experiential Learning and in partnership with the Undergraduate Experiential Learning &amp; Academic Excellence team, this position manages improvement efforts and implementation of new initiatives for the Advanced Experiential Curriculum.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Manages the day-to-day administrative operations supporting Advanced Experiential courses, including but not limited to support of the Undergraduate Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) Program, of faculty and courses in the Advanced Experiential portfolio, creating and updating processes and resources related to the Advanced Experiential Curriculum; and communicating program updates, expectations, and information to appropriate audiences which may include: faculty, students, staff, and other members of the community.</li> <li>Manages the operational aspects of the Undergraduate MCFE Program including soliciting and managing student demand, information sessions, team formation, creating deliverable schedules and program materials, and facilitating program-related events. Designs and manages MCFE project catalog and client documentation.</li> <li>Designs, develops, and distributes marketing materials to educate students and promote participation in Advanced Experiential Learning opportunities. Ensures marketing materials meet Babson standards.</li> <li>Maintains client information and Salesforce database.&nbsp;</li> <li>Tracks student/employer satisfaction through surveys. Evaluates programs, systems, and processes, and recommends opportunities for improvement. Recommends key initiatives to add value to employers, students, and alumni. With Associate Director, pulls data and creates reports for bi-annual team retreats.</li> <li>Assists with maintenance of technology and social media resources; promotes Experiential opportunities on social media.</li> <li>Collaborates with Center for Engaged Learning &amp; Teaching, Glavin Office, and Blank School to support, leverage and expand Advanced Experiential Learning opportunities both in and outside the classroom and for faculty, staff, and students.</li> <li>Participates and informs faculty in EXP&amp;T Summer Studio of parameters as well as support of their Advanced Experiential courses.</li> <li>Collaborates with campus partners for operational aspects of Advanced Experiential Learning Curriculum (IT, Legal Counsel, Risk Management, Facilities, etc.).</li> <li>Holds regular meetings with students and student teams.</li> <li>Responsible for managing within budget.</li> <li>Participates in various program and college-wide committees.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <br /> <p><strong>WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree</strong></li> <li>A <strong>minimum of 1-3 years of related experience.</strong></li> <li>Must possess a professional demeanor with exceptional <strong>organization</strong>, <strong>written</strong> and <strong>oral</strong> <strong>communication</strong> <strong>skills</strong>, including group presentation and facilitation skills.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>multitask.</strong></li> <li>Ability to take <strong>initiative</strong> and complete tasks with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Ability to work both <strong>independently</strong>, on teams and as part of committees.</li> <li>Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, and faculty.</li> <li>Must have a <strong>proactive</strong> and <strong>collaborative</strong> attitude, including diplomacy and tact, towards all Babson constituents: clients, alumni, students, faculty, staff, parents and the Babson community.</li> <li><strong>Flexibility</strong> and willingness to assume new tasks and special projects.</li> <li>Must have <strong>strong technology skills</strong> and comfort including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, video conference platforms, room reservation systems, calendar systems for student scheduling and using Social Media as tools.</li> <li>Envisions and proposes new methods to perform tasks that support ET&amp;A; <strong>takes thoughtful risks</strong>; and accepts new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li><strong>Anticipates and embraces change</strong>; demonstrates willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Babson College requires all Babson faculty and staff members authorized to work on our campuses or any other property owned or controlled by the College to verify that they have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19. We have extended our vaccination policy to require a COVID-19 booster shot for all eligible community members as well. Faculty and staff must provide booster vaccination information upon hire or within 21 days of becoming eligible for a booster (unless granted a medical accommodation or religious exemption). Requests for medical accommodation or religious exemption should be addressed directly to Human Resources.</li> <li>Some early mornings and/or evenings and occasional weekends.</li> <li>Hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days remote and increased remote flexibility based on time of year and position/program needs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE<br /><br /></strong></p> <p>Experience working with Learning Management databases is desirable (i.e., Canvas)</p>
