Overview: <br />The Senior Director, Finance/Treasury Management is responsible for providing subject matter expertise related to funding, liquidity management, liquidity stress testing, asset/liability management, interest rate risk management, capital adequacy, and capital stress testing. Specifically responsible for overseeing bond related payments, reconciliations, analysis, year-end work papers and bond compliance; overseeing cash, debt, and investment accounting in collaboration with the finance department which requires implementing and understanding GAAP, GASB, and FASB accounting and maintaining relationships with banks, investment advisors, and bond compliance agencies; managing the Student Financial Services Department focusing on UG and Grad tuition billing and receipts; overseeing cash management initiatives, bank relationships, and day-to-day treasury operations working closely with all finance and budget departments including the Advancement. IT, Facilities, and various other departments; establishing short-term borrowing needs and recommending short-term investing initiatives; and serving as a backup for treasury functions, including cash reconciliation and cash flow management.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Oversees all cash management functions and reporting including overseeing daily cash positioning activities such as managing daily liquidity, cash position reconciliation, and bank reporting; as well as developing cash forecasting methods.</li> <li>Works to continuously improve payment processes and capital improvement process.</li> <li>Maintains and cultivates banking relationships.</li> <li>Recommends alternative financing strategies.</li> <li>Maintains rating Agencies reporting and relationship with S&amp;P and Moody&rsquo;s; effectively works closely with outside FA agency.</li> <li>Works closely with the Finance Department&rsquo;s Senior Accountant to oversee issuing letters of credit as well as managing performance bonds and guarantees.</li> <li>Assists the College&rsquo;s IT Department with assessing the College's compliance with the PCI data security standard.</li> <li>Acts in a lead role in capital structure, debt management, bond issuance, and/or share repurchases to ensure the most efficient use of the company&rsquo;s capacity and borrowed monies.</li> <li>Serves as contact for the treasury department in terms of cross-departmental projects as needed.</li> <li>Participates with the AVP/Controller in the preparation of the annual treasury budget.</li> <li>Assists with developing key inputs into the balance sheet, income statements, and cash flow statements for annual plan.</li> <li>Participates in, and oversees, the monthly and year-end close of the SFS Student Billing and the preparation and review of the financial statements.</li> <li>Manages the review of College bank reports and communicates updates to the Associate Vice President, Treasury Management/Controller.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE<br /><br /></strong></p> <p>Director, Student Accounts</p>
