Overview: The Program Coordinator, Babson Build supports the planning and operations of the Babson Build program including pre-program planning beginning in January through program delivery in May through August.
Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Works with Babson Academy business development team to update system for proposal tracking, seat management, etc. based on cohort sizes and composition.</li> <li>Works with campus partners to reserve appropriate space in residence halls as well as on campus classrooms for all cohorts; provide continuous updates throughout year.</li> <li>Works with BECC to reserve reception space at the conference center; provides continuous updates throughout the year.</li> <li>Works with campus dining on estimates for daily usage as well as special events and catering needs and securing one cards for Build participants.</li> <li>Works with faculty directors to finalize schedules/line up teaching team for all cohorts/sections as planning comes together.</li> <li>Coordinates with faculty to upload materials to Learning Management System (Canvas).</li> <li>Updates Pipeline tracking document as groups are contracted; updates with group sizes as information provided by Business Development.</li> <li>Conducts program orientations, including kick off events and presentation (PPT) to classrooms at start of each program; coordinates with Public Safety, Title IX, etc. to ensure required information is included in communications.</li> <li>Coordinates w/ Marketing throughout summer regarding social media, group photos, testimonials, etc.</li> <li>Collaborates with primary Program Manager to develop program wrap up documents (demographics, PPT presentation) at end of summer; leverages summer workers to help with analysis.</li> <li>Collaborates with Associate Dean to complete comprehensive Babson Build Summer Financials Spreadsheet; leverage summer student workers for data entry.</li> <li>Collaborates with Associate Dean to interview, hire and train summer workers.</li> <li>Prepares program-related client invoices and faculty compensation.</li> <li>Communicates with Babson Academy clients and participants about program logistics, assignments and pre-work.</li> <li>Coordinates program materials and assists client, participants, faculty members, and external speakers.</li> <li>In collaboration with Associate Dean contracts with vendors which often include, but is not limited to, transportation, catering, AV equipment, program materials, conference rooms, classrooms, special dinners and functions.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE</strong></p> <p>Student Workers (1-3)</p>
Requirements: <br /> <p>​<strong>WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Associate Degree</strong></li> <li>A minimum of<strong> 3-5 years of related program management experience.</strong></li> <li>Must have strong customer-service orientation, organization, and planning skills</li> <li>Must demonstrate <strong>strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills</strong></li> <li>Must have program management expertise and demonstrated business acumen</li> <li>Ability to handle challenging situations and individuals requiring creative problem solving.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>think and act strategically</strong>, making choices and decisions to ensure that program participants, clients and faculty receive the best experience while maintaining fiscal diligence and operational excellence.</li> <li>Ability to envision and propose new methods to perform tasks that support ET&amp;A; take thoughtful risks; and accept new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>anticipate and embrace change</strong>; demonstrate willingness to achieve, acquire, and utilize new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</li> <li>Must have strong technology skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/calendar).</li> <li>Must have <strong>excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate in a cross-cultural environment.</strong></li> <li>Must have strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks and adjust to changing priorities.</li> <li>Must be a <strong>team player</strong> with ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.</li> <li>Must have an interest in international affairs and other cultures.</li> <li>Must have a <strong>positive attitude</strong> and the ability to be flexible in changing conditions.</li> <li>Ability to work with ethnically, culturally, and socially diverse students, staff, faculty, and other constituencies.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>All Babson College faculty and staff authorized to work on campus must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, <a href="" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">including any appropriate boosters</a>.
