Overview: The Associate Director, Innovative Learner Campus Programs leads the successful development and execution of all Frank &amp; Eileen Center for Women&rsquo;s Entrepreneurial Leadership (CWEL) Undergraduate, Graduate, and career professional campus learner programs and initiatives in support of the Center&rsquo;s strategic objective to deliver high impact, mission-aligned learning experiences that promote gender and DEI as a growth strategy for individuals, organizations, and society as a whole. Specifically responsible for directing a portfolio of high impact programs that address the unique needs of learners worldwide, at the intersection of gender, entrepreneurship, leadership and education (includes the undergraduate F&amp; E CWEL Scholars Program; Undergraduate, Graduate and Peer Mentor programs; cross campus WEL and gender-related educational events; select women and gender focused Executive Education offerings; and external events and initiatives related to women entrepreneurial leaders). In addition, this position participates in the development and execution of fundraising initiatives, cultivating and driving strategic relationships to ensure high-quality development and delivery of Babson&rsquo;s student learning experience, assists with designing and delivering curriculum and content that aligns with the needs of students and program-critical metrics of success; facilitating mentorship programs and courses, workshops, speaker series, and networking events; cross-campus collaborations; and student advising.
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Strategic Management:<em><br /><br /></em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Builds strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support the F&amp;E CWEL growth strategy through brand-building partnerships, financial sponsorship, and in-kind services; promotes F&amp;E CWEL leadership position through strategic relationship building; cultivates and manages F&amp; E CWEL relationships with Babson alumni, women&rsquo;s entrepreneurship and economic empowerment organizations, academic and corporate partners, and mission-aligned professional organizations; and identifies links between these stakeholders and F&amp; ECWEL Global activities.</li> <li>Works with the F&amp;E CWEL Executive Director and Babson Development team to create and execute the F&amp;E CWEL fundraising strategy, including identifying fundraising targets, building a durable and engaged network of sponsors and donors, and initiating and sustaining relationships that feed the fundraising.</li> <li>Manages program-related F&amp;E CWEL budget accounts and recommends expenditures to the Executive Director.</li> <li>Develops and executes the F&amp;E CWEL student learner programming growth strategy that fulfills the Center&rsquo;s strategic objective to deliver high impact, mission aligned learning experiences focused on women&rsquo;s entrepreneurial leadership, gender and inclusion acumen, and professional development.</li> <li>Fosters learning environments of inclusion, belonging, and support through targeted outreach and establishing avenues for learner networking, collaboration, and serves as a thought leader in community-building activities.</li> </ul> <strong><em><br /></em>Learner Experience (Babson Undergrad/Graduate Students):</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Directs all Student programs by building a network of program supporters for each program including mentors, coaches, experts and speakers; manages relationships with strategic partners.</li> <li>Manages, recruits, and onboards mentors (such as coaches and experts); facilitates mentor orientation; and oversees mentor communications throughout the F&amp;E Mentorship programs.</li> <li>Fosters partnerships with students, organizations, faculty, and administration across the Babson community (including but not limited to, the Centers &amp; Institutes, Admissions, Office of Diversity &amp; Inclusion; Office of Multicultural and Identity Programs, Centers for Career Development, Advancement, Campus Life, and all academic divisions) to facilitate recruiting, outreach, and coordination of collaborative programming; the leveraging of opportunities, resources, and relationships; and to identify new opportunities for F&amp;E CWEL student programs.</li> <li>Oversees and advises Women&rsquo;s Leadership scholar program, including the supervision of student workers or graduate fellows assigned to student program initiatives. Leads all F&amp;E CWEL graduate student engagement and serves as the F&amp;E CWEL liaison to the Babson Association of Women MBA&rsquo;s (BAWMBA) and their leadership team.</li> <li>Builds participation in F&amp;E CWEL internal programs and entrepreneurial ecosystems by collaborating with mission-aligned stakeholders for programs and events.</li> <li>Directs student advisors, providing guidance, coaching, and support to both individuals and student-led organizations.</li> <li>Works with College Marketing and Senior Associate Director to design and implement the internal F&amp;E CWEL student program marketing strategy; develops integrated marketing communications plans leveraging diverse tactics that support F&amp;E CWEL objectives; and creates the associated communications and thought leadership content needed to execute against it.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>YOUR TEAM WILL INCLUDE:<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Undergraduate/Graduate Student Intern(s) (as assigned).</li> <li>Consultants and temporary employees as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Master&rsquo;s Degree.</strong></li> <li><strong>At least 6-8 years of experience in student affairs, program management, events management, leadership/career development, or DE&amp;I initiatives, and experience managing staff and a budget.</strong></li> <li>Demonstrated ability to design, deliver, and evaluate co-curricular education programs.</li> <li><strong>Passion for advancing and supporting high-potential student leaders </strong>and entrepreneurs with an understanding of the social constructions of gender, intersections of identity, and implications for education and business communities.</li> <li>Ability to stay abreast of current trends in women&rsquo;s entrepreneurship research; venture acceleration; diversity, equity, inclusion, &amp; belonging; leadership, and gender in both corporate and start-up business environments.</li> <li>Must have <strong>outstanding organization &amp; project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently.</strong></li> <li>Must have creative problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate.</li> <li>Must have <strong>strong marketing and customer service skills</strong>.</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal formats including high visibility situations such as keynote speaking, media relations, and panel moderation.</li> <li>Ability to <strong>establish credibility and confidence with stakeholders in advancing women&rsquo;s entrepreneurial research worldwide and convening thought leaders.</strong></li> <li>Must have exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills, and the ability to be effective engaging with all levels within the college and the business ecosystem.</li> <li>Must be <strong>proficient in Microsoft Office programs: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants</strong>.</li> <li>Must be a team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide colleagues from across the campus when necessary.</li> <li>Demonstrated <strong>effectiveness in working with internal constituents</strong> such as diverse student body, faculty, and staff, and external constituents such as strategic partners, stakeholder groups and volunteers.</li> <li>Creates an environment where direct reports have the freedom and security to take initiative; deals with complexities with resilience, resourcefulness, and optimism; and appreciates open mindedness, creativity, and agility in thought and tactics.</li> <li><strong>Embraces ideas and changes created by all community members</strong>. &nbsp;</li> <li>Works independently to solve problems; looks for opportunities to take on responsibility; takes thoughtful risks; and effectively acts on new and ongoing initiatives, objectives, and solutions to gain sought-after results.</li> <li><strong>Anticipates and effectively handles change; demonstrates a willingness to try new skills and challenging tasks; and is flexible in changing conditions.</strong></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Willingness to work on campus Monday-Friday (during the academic year) and hybrid schedule during summer months.</li> <li>Working hours may vary; requires some nights/weekends.</li> <li>Ability to travel domestically and internationally.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>ADDITIONAL SKILLS YOU MAY HAVE<br /><br /></strong></p> <ul> <li>Doctoral Degree a plus.</li> <li>Previous experience in higher education a plus.</li> </ul>
