Overview: Key functions of this request include: Assist staff in reducing wired ports in all campus buildings to support a wireless first campus.<br /><br /> <p>This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $24.00. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Surveying wireless signal strength and coverage indoors and outdoors.</li> <li>Shadow members of the network and other IT teams to gain knowledge of different roles in IT.</li> <li>Replacement of batteries in UPS units which provide backup power to critical network&nbsp;equipment.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Assist NEO staff with replacing network components (switches, access points, routers) as&nbsp;directed.</li> <li>Assist NEO staff with scripting and small software projects as directed.</li> </ul>
