Overview: The Undergraduate Admission Reader is responsible for serving as a member of the Admission Committee by reading, reviewing, and recalculating GPAs of applicants to the College. The ideal candidate will have previous Undergraduate Admission or college counseling experience and be able to thoroughly review applications and render decisions in a timely manner in accordance with Undergraduate Admission&rsquo;s policies and procedures.<br /><br /> <p>This is a temporary seasonal position with an hourly rate of $32.00. This position includes paid sick leave where required by law. Eligibility, accrual, and usage will follow applicable state and local regulations.</p> <p>All questions or concerns about this posting should be directed to the Office of Human Resources at hr@babson.edu.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responsible for reading applications for first-year applicants to Babson College.</li> <li>Responsible for reviewing all documentation provided within the applicant&rsquo;s record.</li> <li>Responsible for recalculating GPAs for files read.</li> <li>Utilize Slate as well as new AI technologies to verify GPA recalculation.</li> <li>Provide detailed write-ups of application notes and interview notes that adhere to UGrad Admission review standards.</li> <li>Makes recommendations as temporary member of the committee.</li> <li>Assumes additional responsibilities and projects as required.</li> </ul>
