Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Plan, oversee and budget all manufacturing operations to include maintenance and physical condition of the facility.</li> <li>Ensure proper staffing and training of all positions in the plant.</li> <li>Ensure adherence to operational budgets and proper quantities are available of raw materials and packing goods.</li> <li>Direct and review the scheduling of manufacturing operations to ensure safe production of quality products.</li> <li>Develop and review methods for manufacturing, processing, filling and implement modification when necessary.</li> <li>Propose, develop and justify annual multi-million dollar operating, expense, and capital expenditure budgets.</li> <li>Oversee and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, environmental rules, regulations, policies, and training requirements.&nbsp; Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.</li> <li>Investigate and resolve employee complaints and production problems.</li> <li>Research feasibility and application of major equipment changes or facility upgrades.&nbsp; Initiate programs and processes for improved product quality</li> <li>Manage selection, training, and supervision of staff for all departments and conduct meetings to review plant issues.</li> <li>Implement Safety and Continuous Improvement programs.</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -58px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
Requirements: <p dir="LTR"><strong>EXPERIENCE/ EDUCATION</strong></p> <ul> <li>Educational attainment equivalent to Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, related field or experience is required</li> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree preferred</li> <li>Broad and progressively responsible manufacturing, management, operations, cost control and safety experience is required&nbsp;</li> <li>Experience working in the Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food &amp; Beverage, or Cosmetic Industry preferred</li> </ul> <p dir="DEFAULT">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="LTR"><strong>KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Broad knowledge of manufacturing operations, paint chemistry, processing and plant capacity</li> <li>Considerable knowledge of management, supervision and leadership procedures</li> <li>Project management skills</li> <li>Ability to define, prepare and analyze production reports, budgets and capital costs</li> <li>Organization and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Recruitment, selection, training and supervision experience</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of OSHA, DOT and Environmental regulations</li> <li>Thorough knowledge of applicable wage hour laws</li> </ul> <p dir="DEFAULT">&nbsp;</p> <p dir="LTR"><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS</strong></p> <ul> <li>May be required to incur some occasional out of state travel</li> </ul> <div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -241px; top: -20px;">&nbsp;</div>
