Overview: Provide training and direction for the order puller and ensure related operating equipment is used properly and safely.<br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Provide training to new employees regarding the proper handling and correct procedures in order pulling.</li> <li>Provide a quality check for damages, misinformation, and any discrepancies with an order, so as to ensure that all products are arranged properly and that they arrive in the proper condition when they arrive at the customer.</li> <li>Coordinate the loading of products onto pallets and returning the pallets to the wrapping area.</li> <li>Provide the transport of products to and from different work locations.</li> <li>Maintain established safety and work procedures in order to properly log and move orders.</li> <li>Complete Inspection of pallets for proper stickers, addresses, and labeling, and display positioning.</li> <li>Maintain updated and accurate information on the bill of lading and be sure to return promptly to the order ship desk.</li> <li>Maintain accurate and complete product orders.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <p dir="LTR"><strong><span class="WDV2">EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Some production or equipment operation experience is desirable</li> </ul> <br /> <p dir="LTR"><strong><span class="WDV2">KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES</span> RECOMMENDED FOR POSITION:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to operate rider jack, forklift, hand jack, or a power hand jack in an effort to obtain correct products</li> <li>Possess a clear understanding of order pulling, data entry, maintenance, safety, and recordkeeping</li> <li>Possess a clear understanding of spill clean‑up procedures</li> <li>Ability to lift and move items of considerable weight</li> </ul> <br /> <p dir="LTR"><strong>SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>May periodically operate forklift and shrink wrap machine</li> <li>Required to wear and use appropriate safety gear including boots and back belt&nbsp;</li> <li>Required to work more than 8 hours in a workday or 40 hours in a workweek as required by supervisor</li> </ul>
