Overview: <p dir="LTR">The Sr. SAP IT Business Analyst will provide process and system support to our internal Behr customers in various countries and provide <span class="WDV2">leadership/mentorship</span> to Junior ITBAs and ITBAs. This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in the US and India across functional areas and partner with the business to provide assistance to functional users and act as liaisons between the business and technical teams. This includes gathering business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, recommending and implementing solutions by configuring SAP, and working with ABAP developers and other technical teams to meet ongoing business needs.</p> <p dir="LTR">Key competencies- Ability to configure &amp; solve requirements and issues related to General Finance and Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FPA) including General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Shipment costing, Invoicing/Billing &amp; Intercompany processes.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li dir="LTR">Troubleshooting SAP system issues reported by the business users via Service Now Incidents and providing resolutions</li> <li dir="LTR">Work closely and effectively with other ITBAs (US and India) and the business units among all functional areas and levels of management</li> <li dir="LTR">Day-to-day support of departmental functions for the FI/CO and FPA modules; evaluate system requirements and implement solutions; configure, modify and coordinate testing.</li> <li dir="LTR">Resolve issues related to business use of implemented SAP modules and/or processes by working with ITBAs, systems or process owners, and project teams to find acceptable solutions.</li> <li dir="LTR">Create and provide quality training material and deliver training for user assistance and system usage.</li> <li dir="LTR">Work closely with the development team to assure a timely solution according to the specifications and implementation of business needs.</li> <li dir="LTR">Researching and monitoring EDI related issues for invoices and remittance advice</li> <li dir="LTR">Work in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in the development of technology and workflow solutions.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree required in computer science, finance, business, or related field</li> <li>10+ years functional SAP experience in Finance processes with a working knowledge of SD/LE, MM/PP, and IM/WM processes</li> <li>Experience with electronic invoicing for Latin American countries, specifically, Mexico and Chile</li> <li>Experience working with EDI and Banking interfaces</li> <li>Proven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environment</li> <li>Proven ability to manage small to medium size projects</li> </ul> <br /><strong>KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Fluent in English. Knowledge of Spanish will be a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge of general business processes and functions preferably in a manufacturing environment.</li> <li>Ability to plan and manage projects and activities related to ERP systems</li> <li>Ability to establish effective interpersonal relations</li> <li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization</li> <li>Time management skills &amp; organizational skills including multi-tasking and prioritize workload.</li> </ul>
