Overview: Set up and perform applications tests and document results. Develop application testing criteria for new products and troubleshoot field application problems. Working safely is part of our culture and is a condition of employment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for the Applications Lab.</li> <li>Evaluate new coatings products to establish proper application protocols.</li> <li>Write and maintain reports and records of application observations.</li> <li>Recognize and communicate detrimental trends in product performance.</li> <li>Identify critical product-specific application issues working with interdisciplinary teams.</li> <li>Provide applications recommendations and guidelines for consumer field testing projects.</li> <li>Travel to product failure or field testing sites to evaluate application performance.</li> <li>Assist Technical Services Representatives in resolving the most difficult customer complaints by reviewing the situation and offering solution options.</li> <li>Assist in organizing and leading Applications Lab product demonstrations and training sessions.</li> <li>Respond to and fulfill requests for historical test results.</li> <li>Implement and monitor conformance of laboratory testing procedures.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Extensive application work experience across a broad range of coatings industry products or Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in physical science field preferred or related field.</li> </ul>
