Full Time

Overview: Coordinates, plans and supervises Site Supervisors, Crew Leaders, Contractors and/or craft activities. Maintains Liaison with other departments to ensure all required materials, equipment and inspections support the project schedule. Coordinates plans and specifications with owner's project engineers and consultants.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Ensure your projects are managed to the highest safety, productivity, and quality standards</li> <li>Follow the 31 Steps of the Construction Project as outlined in Best Roofing University, Our Story &amp; The Fundamentals. Attend Best Roofing University learning sessions.</li> <li>Interact well with project management team (P.C. P.M.) Always working together towards the same objectives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Is present while first items are set up on any roof top.</li> <li>Update PTT (project tracking tool) and understands the labor cost at any given time.&nbsp;</li> <li>Use Project Tracking Tool (PTT) on every assigned project. Update daily with the assistance of your Project Coordinator.</li> <li>Use FollowUp Project Management and can explain where a project is at any time.</li> <li>Maintains a presence on each project within a 24-hour period.</li> <li>Communicate well with clients &amp; submit engaging OPM (online project management) reports.</li> <li>Work with P.M. to achieve billing &amp; collection objectives. DSO is always less than 45 days.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Work with warehouse to pull inventory of leftover products.</li> <li>Interact well with Warehouse and Logistics and submits orders within the required timeline.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assure that your Crew Leaders achieve budget objectives and Crew Leader bonus.</li> <li>Order sheet metal fabrication so it can be loaded and installed during normal course of construction process.</li> <li>Ensure that equipment is used properly and avoids break downs.</li> <li>Ensure Crew bus is maintained clean and organized.&nbsp;</li> <li>Attend Mandatory Huddle meetings.&nbsp;</li> <li>Attend monthly Crew Leader Meeting date TBD. Miami and Fort Lauderdale Crew Leader Meetings held on separate dates at each location. One hour.&nbsp;</li> <li>Attend weekly Needs and Wants Meeting Wednesday Morning 7:30AM &ndash; 8:00AM.&nbsp;</li> <li>General functions:</li> <li>Own Clients&rsquo; positive experience at the job site.&nbsp;</li> <li>Validate your crews are properly using and maintaining company equipment.</li> <li>Manage your field employees and crew assignments.</li> <li>Manage water infiltration issues and ask for help from upper management when a situation is too big to handle.</li> <li>Conduct performance reviews as required.</li> <li>Work with Senior Construction Manager regarding all H.R. matters for your crews and field employees.</li> <li>Own safety on your projects and adhere to company policies.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years&rsquo; experience in the construction industry.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years&rsquo; experience in a management/supervisory role.</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher, technical school degree, or a combination of certifications and relevant roofing experience required.</li> <li>Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and project management software required.</li> <li>Great Customer Service skills.</li> <li>Excellent communicator both up and down the organizational chart.</li> <li>Detailed and thorough in planning and execution.</li> <li>Follow up on a timely manner with both the employee and customer.</li> <li>A coach and mentor to all in the organization.&nbsp;</li> <li>Team / role / substitute player that will do whatever needs to be done to get the job completed.</li> <li>Ability to anticipate and plan for the unforeseen.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Possesses a high set of moral and ethical standards both in business dealings and in personal life.&nbsp;</li> <li>Good math and language (both written and verbally) skills.</li> <li>Manager of people; work in a fast-paced high-volume company.</li> <li>Ability to manage difficult situations with both employees and clients.</li> </ul>
